Shit I'd do to fix TNA's many different problems...
The first thing I would do is fire Vince Russo. As a relatively new company, TNA does not need a washed up, ego driven, overpaid writer who buried the old WCW company. Not too mention a guy who has heat with the majority of the lockeroom.
---
The second thing I would do is get rid of that damn six sided ring and go back to a four sided ring. The six sided ring is terrible, awkward looking and takes the piss out of tag team matches.
I'd also cut out all the fucking gimmick matches. Limit each pay per view to ONE gimmick match and limit your television show to ONE gimmick match every 3 months. I am so disgusted by the overuse of gimmick matches in TNA.
---
Another aspect I would do is fire talent that you do not use (TNA seems to have realized this with the firing of A-1, David Young & Elix Skipper) and also let guys go who clearly do not want to be a part of the company. Guys like Ron Killings who has repeatedly asked for his release from his contract, and guys like BG and Kip James who have openly buried the company and said they'd leave in a heartbeat. You do not need workers who do not appreciate the (probably overpaid) checks you are giving them; especially when in a new company.
---
I'd only bring out 15 wrestlers out to your television tapings:
Top 5 Headliners
Kurt Angle - Sting - Samoa Joe - Christian Cage - Scott Steiner
Top 3 X-Division Wrestlers
AJ Styles - Christopher Daniels - Alex Shelley
Top 2 Tag Teams
LAX w/Konnan - Team 3D
So idealy you'll only have these 13 workers under contract who will be the ones you build your company around. Then I'd bring in 3-4 additional guys per show that are reliable workers who can have good television matches with the guys you want to build your company around... Guys like Rhino, Chris Sabin, AMW
The rest of the guys you bring in for Pay Per Views should only be paid for their one time appearence, much like any independant show.
---
Other important factors I think are...
-Stop constantly mentioning the World Wrestling Entertainment. Do your own thing and stop worrying about what they are doing.
-Get the hell out of Orlando
-Work on securing a 2 hour timeslot in order to expand your company.
