Is it me or are/were they a very underrated stable? They seem to never get top mentioned around here when we are discussing best stables or whatever. The stable had an array of legends and top notch wrestlers. Austin, Rude, Anderson, Eaton, Zbyszko...and of course Paul Heyman running the ship. They dominated for a long period there in the early 90's and held a bunch of gold. If there was a stable close to the Horsemen, this was it.

Rude was so awesome around this time too. I loved the feud he had going with Sting. Well what are your thoughts on this unit?

I don't particularly remember them, which is weird, because I've been a fan for a long time.

Wish I watched wrestling (or WCW) when this stuff went on.

Was Rude ever a World Champ in WCW? I remember him as TV Champ forcing them to enter him in a lottery to face Lex Luger a long time ago.

Never heard of it. Sounds better than the horsemen.

they were awesome from what i can barely remember. i remember them feuding with sting and nikita kolof. I think dustin rhodes and ricky steamboat were also usually feuding with them.

during that era Rude had some great feuds with Sting and Steamboat.

there biggest feuds were with Sting and Windham. Koloff didn't really feud with them. At Havok 91 I think, Anderson and Larry Z broke Windham's wrist after slamming a car door on it.

oh yeah! I have Havoc 91 on tape too. Then dustin rhodes comes running in and they ran off. later in the ppv zybsko and arn beat the patriots (fire breaker chip and todd champion) to retain the wcw world tag titles.

Most people remember Rude as an IC Champ. I remember him as the US Champ and Whatever they had been calling the big gold belt at that time...Him and sting fueded over it. Rude was a major player back then

Heyman: To the guy who didn't get all our robes in on time, someone's gonna pay. I'm gonna make the call to find out where you're gonna be Next Tuesday, then it's going down!

He was never WCW World Champion but he did hold the WCW International Heavyweight Champion which was the Big Gold Belt from 1992-1994.

I just loved the way they presented their wrestlers. During singles matches it was "The Dangerous Alliance presents... hailing from blah blah, weighing in at bla". It made it feel like you were getting a star as opposed to just part of a stable.
