Apparently it's one of those movies that is long, and has lots of talking. It isn't a typical Fincher "Look here! Now over here!" movie. It's apparently got great acting and character development, though.

I'd probably say check it out if you've got nothing better to do. It's apparently really good, it just feels as long as it is. Good movie, but not in the same vein as Seven or Fight Club.

It's David Fucking Fincher!

That being said I have no idea what your personal tastes are so *shrugs*

Just got back. It was really good. I would put Seven above it, but good none the less. Downey and Ruffalo were awesome. Donal Logue drops in for a few minutes. Even good to see Anthony Edwards get a good amount of screen time again.

*spoilers in black* :Jake Gyllenhall was good in the beginning. But once he really gets obsessed with it, rest of the movie pretty much goes to him about writing his book and trying to solve the case on his own. I suggest you grab a Pepsi or something cause it may put you to sleep.:

I'm really interested in this movie.

It looks good, but I'm afraid it'll be a serious letdown.

In some ways, I would say it is better than Seven. It depends on your explicit personal taste. You could say Zodiac is a little more realistic than Seven with its slower, more methodical pacing. All depends on which style you prefer.

Was gonna see this yesterday, but somebody asked me (literally 10 minutes before I left) to go see it with them on Sunday.

Good movie IMO. Not a lot of action, persay. More of suspense and storytelling. But it is LONG, and while most other people seem to say it didn't feel long, to me, it did feel long.

However, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Although I was aware of how long it was, it wasn't agonizing. Overall, I'd say it's worth matinee money. But you have to be into more suspense-type films, as opposed to pure action and stuff.

The guy who played Drew Carey's cross-dressing brother, Steve, is in this movie.
