The Best Of Raw & Smackdown - Volume 1: Smackdown's Most Memorable Matches DVD

This DVD is exclusive to Silvervision.co.uk

World Tag Team Championship Match
Chuck & Billy Vs. Hulk Hogan & Edge (04/07/02)

Rey Mysterio Vs. Chavo Guerrero (25/07/02)

Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero Vs. The Rock & Edge (01/08/02)

Big Show Vs. Brock Lesnar (12/06/03)

Rey Mysterio Vs. Eddie Guerrero (06/01/05)

United States Championship Match
Chris Benoit Vs. Booker T (21/10/05)

Doesn't necessarily seem that great, but then again it only costs £5.99 at the moment. At least they have the match on there with the ring collapse spot between Show and Lesnar.

Dude its 6 bucks. Seems worth it to me, as they are all good matches.

Actually it's more like 12 bucks.

Pretty lackluster especially for recent standards of WWE DVDs.

I'll get it. For £6 it seems decent enough, and it does say Volume 1 so I'm assuming they'll be more.

Benoit and Eddie VS Rock and Edge? Don't remember this match though, so it looks interesting enough just for this.

I love watching matches from the time periods where I stopped watching. When I gave up on wrestling, I missed a lot so I got to watch a wrestlemania and 2 royal rumbles for which I didn't know the outcomes, other than that cena beat JBL.

I however didn't know who won the 2005/2006 royal rumbles, or the hbk/angle match and the other main event. Plus it was interesting to see MITB and all kinds of new talent.

Yeah didn't notice the pounds sign. For 12 bucks, I dunno.

Hopefully some later volumes have matches with the SmackDown! Six. :y:

This DVD set will be especially worth it if they have an alternate commentary track with JBL calling the matches.

That should have an entire DVD set with just matches from the Smackdown Six. That's be sweet.

Okay, I must be missing something here, what the hell is the SmackDown! Six?

It's been established since 2002 and because you don't pay attention and/or it hasn't really been brought up in ages.

Yeah, I've seen it mentioned MAYBE once here, that's about it. And considering this is my only wrestling forum, I haven't heard it anywhere else...

KingofOldSchool

Well I haven't really seen anything about the group in a couple of years except a few things here and there.

2002-2003

Kurt Angle
Edge
Eddie Guerrero
Rey Mysterio
Chris Benoit
Brock Lesnar

I could be wrong, but I thought Chavo Guerrero was the sixth member, not Brock Lesner because of Chavo's tag team with Eddie, and with him produced many great matches.

Rocky B

Yeah, I thought it was Chavo too but they always did put on great matches with each other.

Correct.

It was the amazing amounts of tag matches and single matches that was produced from the Benoit/Angle, Eddie/Chavo and Edge/Rey pairings that spun the name Smackdown 6, Lesnar came in towards the end of the SD 6

The Edge/Rey v Benoit/Angle tag matches were my personal highlight of the SD6.

Okay, when the hell was this established, why, and why haven't I heard of it?

It's barely been mentioned since that group was split up. Back at that time Smackdown could have been comprised of nothing but those guys and it still would have been the best show in wrestling.
