Remember when Sid shit his pants? Classic.

No I don't. I do recall the clip of Sid breaking his leg. Sid is just so...I don't know the word, but I'm glad I'm not him. There are so many stories of him losing fights, shitting himself, and just being a doofus.

This isn't really a classic moment or anything, nor is it one I remember, but in hindsight it is kind of funny (because it comes from me).

After Val Venis returned from his length 2001 absence at the 2002 Royal Rumble, where he entered against Stone Cold Steve Austin, I remember a promo in the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mr. Perfect and Val Venis. I think this lead to a feud between Venis and Perfect on Heat.

I wasn't too big on Austin at the time (I always liked him better than The Rock, but he was never one of my favourites), Val Venis enthralled me only because I associated his porn star character with the WWF Attitude game, and Mr. Perfect was a guy everyone said was great, but I had never really seen him (only becomming a fan in 2001).

Now, Val Venis, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mr. Perfect standing in the same ring would have made me cum all over the place. Especially considering one of those men is dead, so it would have proven the existence of some kind of God in a WWE ring (The McMahons vs. Shawn Michaels & God doesn't count).

Curt Hennig got some shit treatment in the WWE after he returned. His performance in the Royal Rumble was grand, but it went pretty downhill from there. Fuck, the WWE are idiots.

I was also recently watching the 2001 Royal Rumble DVD, and my family was over. I showed them Kaientai's "dubbed" promo. My dad found it hilarious, and my mum found it cute. That's a successful act, and it reminds me why the WWE used to be so good. People actually cared about the lower card.

Yeah, cared was a pretty strong word for me to use. They "noted" the undercard. That's probably better.

That Austin/Perfect/Venis promo lead to the Beverly Hillbillies promo from austin.

Tiger Ali Sing and Beaver Cleavage.

I'll always remember this time when either Rock or Mankind was cutting a promo with michael cole at the bottom of a staircase and some guy came through the door and above and got all bumbly and went back.

There was a hilarious time when a similar thing happened with Scott Steiner walking out of a lockeroom out of character and tired from a match during someones promo, and he stopped in his tracks.

Yea, and Kurt Angle was in attendance at Sunday Night Heat and beat him up. This was before he was long before he debuted.

I remember two main weird things. One, some guy called Max Moon whose name changed every week. Appeared in a Royal Rumble as well.

And some guy, I swear his name was 'Mysterio' or something (I know I'm probably wrong but this was 10/12 years ago) who used to swipe the ref's underwear from him when he wasn't looking (he was a magician you see). If anyone has any info on that guy which would prove I'm not a loon, it would be appreciated.

Jeritron

Max Moon was Konnan you know. The suit he wore cost over 1000 dollars. And the gimmick was so shitty, he decided he didn't want to do it anymore. After years, Vince was still bitter about this.
So when Benoit Malenko Saturn and Eddie jumped to WWF in early 2000, as the Radicalz, Konnan (who was supsended with the option for release) was going to make the jump with them, and be the 5th member of the stable.
However things didn't go through because of the bad blood still lingering because of the epic saga of Max Moon and his thousand dollar threads.

I remember him wrestling on an episode of Raw where the commentators took a call (yes, they supposedly took a phone call DURING THE MATCH) from someone impersonating Mike Tyson, who at one point wondered "When does Max show his Moon?"

I remember the Motley Crue concert when a plant fan tried to rush the stage and tackle Vince Neil, but he was met by a big boot from their value bodyguard, Test. The announcers then proceeded to put over "Motley Crues personal body guard" Test as a guy you don't want to mess with.

A few months later, he showed up at the end of a HHH/Rock title match (that was superb) and pumple handle slammed HHH to cost him the title, and joined the corporate team. The announcers remembered who he was, and so did I. I was like "holy shit its the motley crue bodyguard" and being the young mark that I was, I was thinking "wwf must have been impressed and offered him a contract."

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

You sir are not crazy, the Ref's underwear was white and black stripes.

I only ever saw the guy work once, but he did loads of tricks, this would have to be in the early side of the 90's I think

Apparently the magic wedgie was his finisher.

The WWE dropped the ball so badly with Test. When Stephanie kidnapped Triple H, they should have had an epic Triple H vs. Test feud. Show shit from when Test debuted, and how hard he worked to prove himself to Shane, etc.

Stephanie then goes crawling back to Test, and gets a Big Boot!

Can anyone count the times the WWE dropped the ball with Test? I can count at least three off the top of my head.

Mr. Nerfect
03-07-2007, 12:20 PM
Holy shit! Speaking of guys the WWE dropped the ball with, I just remember the last time we saw Rhyno during the Invasion. Paul Heyman was running down the guys that lost matches to the WWF the previous show. They all got beaten down. Everyone knew what was coming, and Heyman just turned and said "...Rhyno" and the place ERRUPTED!

Rhyno was of course ready to go and take all of them on...it was brilliant. Heyman then gently suspended Rhyno, and the fans were pissed. It's funny how Heyman got Rhyno so over just with the repition of the word "GORE!"

I remember a Kane vs DDP match where the played the wrong music, causing some confusion. Can't remember which guy's music they accidentally played first, but then the proper music cut in half way through and they played simultaneously for a few seconds.

I also remember thinking WGTT were about to come out and beat down Hassan on the stage, because some monkey in the production truck probably hit Haas instead of Hassan on the music panel.

Phantasio was the magician who used to wedgie his opponents. He was Del Rios, known as The Spellbinder in Memphis. I believe he actually worked for TNA back in the early Nashville PPV days, but I don't know if it was in the magician gimmick or not.

I also remember Max Moon/Maxwell Moon/Maximillion Moves etc etc. Funny, there's a highly rated show here in the UK called EastEnders, and a few years back they actually had a character called Max Moon! He wasn't from the future tho :(

I always seem to remember the fleeting characters who would come and go from WWE over the years. Max Moon, Lance Cassidy, Waylon Mercy, Tekno Team 2000, Uncle Cletus Godwinn, Chris Walker, Key... I even remember 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels feuding with Taka Michinoku on Shotgun about 9 years ago, putting on some wicked matches.

I, too, remember Kurt Angle coming out of the crowd on Heat and suplexing Tiger Ali Singh. It was around the spring/early summer of 1999.

the most ackward momenbt i can remember in wrestling is this one match...i dont remember who the hell it was anymore, but on one of the wrestlers entrance to the ring, there was just this girl standing in the aisle on the way to the ring. She looked horrible and i mean fucking horrible. She was just there, she wasnt a fan that got over beacuse she would have been taken away instead of standing there....its really freaked me and my freind out like a motherfucker at the time. No mention was made of her at all, ever again.

Remember Bam Bam cutting Tatanka's red hair off, and Tatanka being absolutely fuming because the red hair had some kind of significance to his Native American tribe and was symbolic of some shit or other. This was the basis of their entire feud, but at the blow off match at Royal Rumble 1994, Tatanka showed up with brown hair. He had dyed the red out! So the whole basis of their feud had been thrown out the window anyway.

And did Edge ever make that Japanese shampoo commercial, or what?
