Voting over. Metal Gear Solid looked like it was scoring some major points with you all but did it earn enough to claim a spot in the top 3 or take number 1 outright? Let's tally the votes and see................

....still calculating........

.....nope. No dice for Solid Snake and his stealthy ways. It scores an average 4.33 at lands at number 3 of all places. Yeesh. Here's the updated list.

1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (4.7)
2. Donkey Kong Country (4.44)
3. Metal Gear Solid (4.33)
4. NBA Jam (4.0)
5. Devil May Cry (3.8)
6. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (3.7)
7. Mortal Kombat 2 (3.67)
8. StarFox (3.61)
9. Doom (3.6)
10. Time Crisis (3.0)
11. Tekken (3.0)
12. Silent Hill (2.6)
13. Tomb Raider (2.5)

Well Mario and Luigi survive again while Lara still has the rest of the gaming world laughing at her. Let's bring up the next game. And it's...........

...The Sims (PC). There's your fourteenth game for this edition. You know what to do. Just be nice about it. Until next week.

Pretty fun game that had a bunch of replay value. Most of the fun I had with it revolved around me making my friends and turning them gay. Or taking my friends and killing them. The game is still a giant success. While I think some hardcore gamers may not appreciate it as much as it may not be their cup of tea, the game was still fairly innovative. It also reached markets other games have trouble with, such as the female population.

I'll take the game of life board game over this any day of the week. It's great and all, but after they make an expansion pack, they're like, "Oh, this happens in life also." And make another one for you to buy.

I'll give it a 2. And that's from the goodness of my heart.

Damn, you people are hard to please sometimes.

I'm more of a hardcore gamer than some people are, and I am totally addicted to Sims, especially Sims 2. Think of the factors that make this game great (and think about how much of a fanboy I'm about to sound):

- Non linear, open ended gameplay. Basically, you can do what you want, for the most part, but have to deal with the consequences.
- Comedic gameplay. It's not all serious-like, and it never fails to poke fun at itself, either.
- Awesome graphics and totally customizable soundtrack.
- Easy to use interface and expandable enviroment, plus a juggernaut of an internet community. Not only does EA expand on the game, but many user created objects can be added into the game, making replayability and fun factor top notch.

Now that my fanboyism is over, I don't know WHY some of you hate this game so much.

People have different preferences. Get over it.

The Sims got boring after like the first 10mins, glad I downloaded it and didn't spend money on it. When it came out on Xbox it got boring 15mins later, thank god my friend rented it and not me.

I actually liked it but as people said, you do that kind of stuff in real life. Playing God is fun and all but so is actually living. While it was a refreshing sort of game for the usual stuff that gets churned out, games that allow you to pull off things you can't do are usually the fun ones.

It's exactly as LoDown put it. Boring as shit after 10 minutes. I was so pissed because I was out $5 renting it.
