In a long carrer? Don't recall Ricky Steamboat ever being a heel. I think Sting was a heel when he first debuted right?

It seems like he had a very short (and unsuccessful,) run as heel. But I could be wrong.

Sting was heel briefly in late 2000.

I'd say Jeff Hardy. I can't recall a point in his life when he was a bad guy.

I'd say Jeff Hardy. I can't recall a point in his life when he was a bad guy.
And then towards the end of his first WWE run as a burnout.

Jeff has been heel several times. Rember when they were managed by "doc Hendrix?"

Boogeyman was heel when he was in OVW.

Warrior was heel in the blade runners as was sting.

Boogeyman was heel when he first debuted, wasn't he? Or was he nothing and the WWE were trying to figure out what he was? I don't think anyone counts OVW.

Destor

Yes OVW counts, that is part of their career.

And no, he was a baby when he debuted.

He was a heel in Mid-South for a while. He was a part of the "Brat Pack" stable with Ted DiBiase, Matt Borne, and Dr. Death Steve Williams.

Koko B Ware???

He was a heel in Mid-South, he teamed with Norvell Austin and they did a Michael Jackson type gimmick called the P.Y.T. Express.

I don't recall Steamboat ever being a heel. He was a face all the way throughout his Mid-Atlantic, WWF and WCW runs. Infact I'm sure I've read an interview where he says he wished he could have worked heel just once in his career.

No, the LWO was before that and he refused to join but eventually did from what I remember. He joined the Konnan and the No Limit Soldiers after he was unmasked I think. He was heel at one point in WCW though.

Weren't the Filthy Animals heels? If so, there's your Misterio heel turn right there. Plus I'm pretty sure he's been a heel in Mexico too. Almost certain, in fact. Probably in the time between his WCW and WWE runs.

Are we talking on the grand stage of a nationally televised promotion here? Or do indies etc. count?

I think Hillbilly Jim debuted as a heel biker, Harley Davidson, in the indies (Memphis?).

Man Mountain Rock was a heel as Maxx Payne in WCW and in Austria.

I think, other than younger guys who have only just started out, Steamboat is the only big name to have never had a heel run. But I'm sure even he has played the heel at least on a few occasions, as per the crowd reaction on any given night, back when wrestlers would read the crowd and react to it, rather than just go by-the-numbers. The must have been occasions when Steamboat's opponent was more popular than he, and Steamboat heeled it up as a result?

NeanderCarl
03-15-2007, 11:48 PM
Jim Ross has been a heel on two occasions in WWE (1996 and 1998). Alundra Blayze was a heel as Madusa. Koko B. Ware was playing heel very recently in Memphis, maybe even still is.

So far Steamboat, Rocky Johnson and Tito Santana are the best bets for never having had a heel run. Was Santana never a heel in the AWF?

The whole Rey/Filthy Animals being heel bit was as a part of the New Blood in the New Blood vs. Millionaire's Club feud. As for Rey and the LWO, Rey Mysterio refused to join the LWO, but was eventually forced to, when Eddie Guerrero beat him in a match.
