Woah, almost forgot it was Wednesday. I was too busy doing my move. I am officially living in another city. So I quickly averaged out the score for The Sims and found out it gets an average 2.6 landing itself in the 13th position. Lara Croft got owned by a bunch of fake people. Here are the standings:

1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (4.7)
2. Donkey Kong Country (4.44)
3. Metal Gear Solid (4.33)
4. NBA Jam (4.0)
5. Devil May Cry (3.8)
6. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (3.7)
7. Mortal Kombat 2 (3.67)
8. StarFox (3.61)
9. Doom (3.6)
10. Time Crisis (3.0)
11. Tekken (3.0)
12. Silent Hill (2.6)
13. The Sims (2.6)
14. Tomb Raider (2.5)

So now it's week 15. Time to rate another game. Let's take a peek:

Woah, how weird is this? It's the original Mortal Kombat. The bloody gorefest that helped spread conservative propoganda is your game to rate this week. Until next week.

It's an average game that wouldn't have received any attention if it wasn't gory. 3.

Cmon, 4 at least. The original. The one that started all the controversy.

Count my score as a 3, I thought it was MK2.

I should also point out that I'm pretty sure the first two games are the only ones on this list.

I'll give it a 4. It's pretty much the granddaddy of all gore/bloody fighting games. 2 was much better.

I'll say 3. Nothing that noteworthy to me, really.

Graphics: They were pretty neat for the time. The digitized actors looked great.
Sound: Pretty much the only thing memorable was Scorpion's "Get over here!" and the announcer so bleh to that.
Control: Simple but tough for a novice to instantly pick up.
Gameplay: Fights to the death in an ancient tournament. The story was hella weak and didn't really pick-up until the second game. Like someone mentioned, the only thing that grabbed you was the gore. The fighters also had some limited movesets.

Overall, 3 for me.
