Did Bobby Heenan really hate Hogan's guts that much?

Every time I watch a match with Hogan wrestling and Heenan announcing Bobby makes comments putting Hogan down. I thought it was him just being a heel announcer at first but over the years he always did it. Even when Hogan was NWO and Goldberg beat him he was like "Thank you Thank you!".

What was Heenan's beef with Hogan?

Yeah, Heenan has even said that he and Hulk are friends in real life, but I think that there was an angle where The Heenan family hated Hulk Hogan. I might be wrong.

While he didn't have any real problem with Hogan, there was something about the Ultimate Warrior DVD that just suggested that he may have been somewhat indifferent to Mr Warrior.

Heenan and Hogan were close in real life. Bobby mentions it in his book, and Hogan even wrote the foreword to Bobby's first autobiography.

He reasoned that the fans knew that Heenan hated Hogan's guts from over the years, so even when Hogan turned heel, why would Bobby suddenly start gushing over him? So 'The Brain' kept his storyline dislike for Hogan strong, even when both were heels.

Bobby was more of a smartass tweener in WCW anyway after the nWo took off.

Also, in reference to the above mentioned Bobby disliking the UW, indeed he does. As does most everyone who has ever worked with him at some point. I remember Bobby making quite a number of comments / references to the UW in his Chairshots / Obstacles book.

Not to mention whenever anybody mentions Warrior during an interview with Heenan, the next thing you hear from Heenan's end is usually a toilet flushing.
