Yeah, so my computer is royally fucked and I didn't even do anything.
Basically, after the computer is on for about 30 minutes, I seem to be unable to open up ANY programs, no matter what it is. It could be anything from Firefox to WMP to Baseball Mogul, nothing works.
And each one is accompanied by the traditional: "-Program- is experiencing an error and needs to shut down. Sorry for the inconvenience." as soon as the application opens and it then shuts down when I choose to not send an error report.
Most are also accompanied by another box telling me the memory cannot be "read".
SO basically, I dunno what the fuck to do other than take a sledgehammer to this piece of shit machine.
Hmm...you could check and make sure all the memory sticks are seated firmly in their slots.

Anytime I go into My Computer, My Documents, My Music, or anything of the sort: an error pops up reading "Network Command Shell Error" and after that point I can't access any programs
so basically, until I open up a "My ..." folder, everything is fine.
Shame I don't know what the fuck a Network Command Shell is

Wow, this sounds pretty weird. I would say virus/spyware/worm but it seems to be worse than that. I have nothing.

Do a virus scan, that's the best place to start.

agrees, if you cant find anything via a virus scan then do a complete disk check. It doesnt sound like it will be a hardware problem as you can run everything fine for the first 30mins...
Also next time you get an error message get microsoft to do the crash report, it should analyse the problem and send you to a crash recovery page telling you the problem (if it recognises it). The only option after all that (and the one I always hate saying) is a complete reformat and see if that solves the problem

Yeah so I'm bumping this because my problem is getting worse.
For awhile, I got everything to work fine. But now two things are constantly happening:
1. I'm getting Internet Explorer error pop ups even when I don't use IE, usually followed by another "Application Error" message. It gets incredibly annoying.
and (more importantly)
2. I can't open any folders. Seriously. If I go into My Computer, My Documents, or even the fucking Recycle Bin, my computer refuses to let me open any new programs or applications. Its gotten to the point where I want to open a game that is in a folder, I have to put the game directly on my desktop

Have you considered reformatting?

Thats basically my absolute last resort option
What OS are you using?
Really doesn't matter, sounds like you must do a reformat, no way around it. Could also be some hardware fucked up, but don't worry about that until you completely reformat.
Even if you fix it again it'll just come back.
