Terrible rapper. Gayest voice ever. Discuss.

Easily the worst rapper I've ever heard.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Blitz again.

I saw Half Past Dead recently and I laughed when he just got tossed by the prison guard like a rag doll.

As far as rappers go, he's terrible. That's pretty insulting too, since rap is the most god-awful shit ever. Next to country that is.

Ja Rule isn't great, but worst? Gayest? Biggest piece of shit?

I'd put him against almost anything on MTV between 98 and the present in terms of quality. Note I said ALMOST. I say MTV, because I don't want people saying "I'm sure there are worse obscure acts..."

In seventh grade, everyone was all up on Ja Rule's new song "Put It On Me" like it was the hottest shit since Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club. I hated that shit. I hated everything Ja Rule released. And I told them, this guy has no tenure. He won't be in the business as a success for very long, because he doesn't have any fucking depth.

Here we are, 8 years later, and fuck if I wasn't right.

I always hated him, and when 50 came along and exposed him for the fake most of the TRUE hip hop fans knew he was, it just kinda sealed the deal you know?

The man made good money when he was hot. His crew could produce tracks that hit mainstream hard. He certainly isn't the worst rapper out now or ever, but he wouldn't be in the top 15. I wasn't even from NY and i was feeling that track "New York"

Except for the New York song, everything after his first CD blows.

Well.....

I remember his first album, which compared that to his second album sounded completely different. From there, you had all those rumors that he tried to sound like DMX. Personally, I liked X better but Ja probably had more success.
