Why was this guy not bigger? He had the look, the skills, lacking somewhat on the mic, but nothing terrible. A member of the second greatest collection of Horsemen ever. A former NWA World Champ. WWE, WCW, NWA World Tag Champ on multiple occasions. He could go the distance with almost anyone...and yet...he just kind of quitely went into that good night. I mean he had the start of a career that a legend would have, but then reprised his daddy's Blackjack, then the horrific ordeal of the new NWA, then back to WCW for West Texas Rednecks??? For shame...

He was awesome and had a great feud with Flair, but I guess the NWA didn't have enough confidence in him to be "the guy" Obviously Flair was the chosen one and Windham was suppossed to be the guy Flair passed the Torch too, but it just never happened. His Lone Wolf gimmick was great though. And IMO, The greatest Horsemen stable was that Windham, Arn, Tully and Flair team.

See I'd say that was the second greatest Horsemen collection after Flair, Tully, Arn & Ole.
Also, does anyone know why after he dropped the NWA Belt back to Flair he disappeared for like two years?
He got lazy. He admits now he thinks he is the most overrated wrestler of his time.

Lol, I'd love to watch an interview or promo or something where someone actually says that about themselves. That would be awesome!

I honestly believe the Lone Wolf gimmick was the most underrated runs of all time. I loved the whole style, with the Implant DDT finish and the Diving Low Lariats, especially when used after he'd get a near fall out of a floatover Vertical Suplex.
To answer the question: Probably Personal Demons.

RF Video shoot interview. They asked him who is the most overrated wrestler ever and he said himself legit. I was surprised to hear it too.
