On May 12 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_12), 2001 Satullo faced a jobber, Mike Bell, on an episode of WWF Jakked (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWF_Jakked/Metal). After Bell botched (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botch_%28professional_wrestling%29) an arm drag (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling_throws#Arm_drag), dropping Satullo on his head, Satullo appeared to become enraged and legitimately attacked (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoot_%28professional_wrestling%29) Bell. Satullo repeatedly kicked Bell and threw him out of the ring to the floor, with Bell landing directly on his head. He continued his onslaught by picking up the semi-conscious Bell, and slamming him into the metal steps around ringside. Satullo maintains that he was genuinely groggy as a result of the blow to the head and was operating mainly on instinct.

It is rumored that Saturn's new gimmick, involving a love affair with a mop, after the Mike Bell incident was punishment for the attack.

The justice system needs to adopt that.
"The defendent is hereby found guilty of aggrivated assault and must, for a term of no less than eighteen months, show love and affection towards the cleaning instrument of his choosing."

Haha, yeah, as MAG alluded to, Saturn was apparently punished because of this, as Mike Bell was really liked and respected backstage.

Holy shit, watching that makes me a little sick. As talented as Saturn is, he was a dick for doing that.
God Sid is gold. I think this site has just changed my opinion of him.

I found this interesting:
http://www.wrestlinggonewrong.com/video/tripleh_garner.html
This is the infamous Pedigree done double-underhook piledriver style. Apparently the guy who took the move was Marty Garner. This is the same guy who faced MVP in his debut match at No Mercy.
That means he's spent about seven years wrestling as an unknown. If that ain't dedication to the business, I don't know what is.

I remember someone posted a link to this site in my recent botchamania thread, and I spent the rest of the night going through pretty much every video on there.
The ones with the fans getting involved etc are cool. Scott Hall throws a mean punch at one of 'em.

I'm assume he's still wrestling now, of course. He probably even wrestled a bit before his match with Triple H. 10+ years probably would have been the best expression to use.

I heard he was given an insane gimmick as punishment. During his punishment, he decided to run with it and came up with "Your welcome" and the mop on his own.

Saturn must have a guardian angel. First he cracks his skull open then he gets shot 3 times in the neck? he's lucky to be alive.

That's crazy, was he fired for that? That first knee probably made bell nice and wobbly. However, for a pro wrestler to go from the ring to the floor, you think he'd know how to fall.

Didn't the APA give him a stiff double powerbomb for this? I seem to remember talk about it on here once.

Y'know from that clip it looks like Saturn messed up, not Mike Bell.
Either way, I always liked Saturn. I think he's a prick for what he did in this incident, but I guess these things happen. I remember the whole Moppy thing being madly over though. But I always prefered him in the Eliminators and in WCW.

Yeah, I think it was the next week. They fed Saturn to the APA and they stiffed him the whole match, including two nasty powerbombs. That's what led to him being nuts... because of the effects of the powerbomb, knocking him senseless (in kayfabe, of course). Also led to the debut of "You're Welcome" the same night. For a punishment, that was Saturn's biggest push in the WWE.

Or even better example would be john cena, wasn't his punishment or something being given the 'wigger' gimmick.

Also, that's the first time I've actually 'seen' the Mass Transit thing...

It's more the director's fault than the announcers, for cutting to a camera shot of them when they were obviously unaware and without informing them. Fire the director.
