Just curious if anyone was waiting for Everquest 2. Or is anyone currently playing EQ1. I hear that the best comeputer technology that is buyable, still wont be good enough to play EQ2 at its full potential. Which means EQ2 must be attempting to raise the bar in computer graphics. I for one am looking forward to the game. I play EQ1 currently on the Tallon zek server. Its getting somewhat boreing lately. EQ2 will be refreshing hopefully after reading the FAQ's. Also it will give me a reason to update my computer. Ofcourse money will have to be spent. That sucks.

I play EQ1 alot. Play a 65 war on tribunal server, in a time-enabled guild. Look me up.
EQ2 is being released on 10 CD-Roms...I thought Diablo's 3 CD's was a pain in the ass.
But yeah, I'm looking forward to WoW more than EQ2

I'm hearing they may release it on DVD ROM. 10 is alot. From everything i've read according to the " Insiders " EQ2 blows WoW away. The disadvantage to WoW is gunna be how many growing pains they have. When EQ1 came out it was a good couple months before we could play it full time without distraction. EQ2 will most likey be prepared for that. Thats probably he reason it keeps getting pushed back. I hear WoW's beta is up already. I hope WoW doesnt rush there product to get ahead of EQ2. They could have the potential for disaster if they do so. Could be nonstop new patches for months, where as SOE is probably testing there game out right now and fixing all the bugs atm. Which is most likely the reasoning behing the July realease date i hear so much about now.
I've read both FAQ's on both games. I've seen all the SS's for the games as well. Believe it or not. I was going to play WoW because i was tired of EQ 1, but after reading everything. I think i'm gunna try EQ2. Its much more intresting. Guild houses will rule!
For those that plan on playing WOW. Trust me, it will be a pain to play the game for the first few months. I think Buzzkill can back me up on this if he played EQ1 when it first came out.

My only fear is that a month later they'll come out with an expansion.
All monthly fee games aren't worth it IMO.

LOL @ saying WoW is going to be rushed
The day Blizzard rushes a game is the day they go out of business forever

You'll soon understand when your patching up to 8 hours a day for 5 days a week for the first month. Its gunna happen. Probably will happen with EQ2 possibly. Rushed or not. It will happen.

Okay, you can sit there for 30 hours patching your Everquest game then, I'll gladly take WoW.
Niether WoW or EQ2 will have that many patches. If anything it will be small mistakes they found after the game was released and even then it won't be that terrible.

EQ2 looks AWESOME in most every way, but despite my current EQ addiction, I am looking forward to WoW much more than EQ2. I'll probly pick up both.
and pvp is gay!

I had a 65 Shaman on Firiona Vie, was in the top raiding guild on the server. They're Time-enabled. But it took up entirely too much time. So I retired. I imagine I may give EQ2 a go.
