Once again, what about THEM?!
I take it by now these just mean who is better. In which case I won't vote because they're both lost causes who rarely entertain me anymore, and have fallen from the level they were at a few years ago.

-This was difficult for me to decide upon. I think Carlito is more entertaining than Orton on a consistent basis, but he's never excelled or been give n the oppertunity to get out of the mid-card or have great feuds or matches.
Orton on the other hand has been given the chance to break out and he did at first, but since the WWE screwed around with his gimmick he is now stuck in between the mid-card and the main event. He is entertaining on occasion and when he is on the ball, he really does stand out amoung the rest. His great matches with Foley, Benoit, RVD, HHH, Flairreally put me over the top and won my vote.

And you guys were doing so good without me explaining anything...
Just who do you prefer outright and you can base your opinion on any level in terms of draw, skill, push, overated, underated, charisma, match quality, backstage antics, whatever

Carlito was gold in 05. Orton was gold in 04, like really really gold.
So if this vote for at some period in time, who entertained me more. I'd say Orton entertained me more in 2004 than Carlito ever has. However Orton flopped, much of which isn't his fault.
Conversely, Carlito never flopped because he never got that good of a push. However I miss him as a heel IC champion.
At this point in time, since Wrestlemania of last year they have both gone in the shitter thanks to how they're booked. Right now they're both just boring to me, but there's still potential.
I'm gonna vote for Carlito just because I'm incredibly bored with Blandy Boreton right now.
Orton. Carlito seems to be lackluster right now. That springboard back elbow move has a ridiculously long hang time.

Anyway, Carlito.

Coming from you KK? Ha.
Seriously though, I wasn't bitching. I don't know why you'd think I was. Mr. JL knows as well as everyone else that we've been asking him to elaborate on this series of polls for days.

True enough. I love the "million-dollar" knee lift, and the back cracker though, I just think Orton has somehow developed more ring skill than Carlito, although I would definitely never count Carlito out of a match with Orton (unless he was out of the ring for more than 10 seconds...:shifty: )

Is there a purpose to all these "___ or ___" polls?

Carlito. Randy Orton isn't awful, but Carlito is just more entertaining and has more untapped potential in the ring. If allowed to work a program with someone, he would be awesome.

I've never considered Carlito goods in the ring. I think he's character is fun and he can work a mic for his style of persona...but between the ropes...meh...

Yeah, he's never really strutted his stuff in the WWE. Just the way he seems willing to bump and fly around the place makes me think he could do so much more than the southpaw punches if given a chance.

Just trying to guage where everyone's heads are at in terms of the new generation of future superstars.
-----
According to these little polls...
Orton > Cena > Batista
Batista or Cena poll - Cena won 75% of the vote
Cena or Orton poll - Orton won 71% of the vote
So far, based on comments a lot of people still think Randy Orton is a vanilla bland superstar who is inconsistently entertaining, if at all... and yet he still beats out the WWE's two top superstars in terms of the new generation.
