This has to be the saddest thing I've ever witnessed as far as fan attendance goes.

I've seen worse.

Not for people as known as them, though, obviously.

It was probably some horridly overpriced indy show with absolutely NOBODY else worth a damn on the lineup. So yeh, you had big draws like Christian and Styles and thats it. And nobody was about to pay 40 or 50 bucks to watch a bunch of crap and then see Christian and Styles for 5-10 minutes.

(Insert TNA reference here.)

What you didn't see was that there was actually 500,000 fans there that night...

There were just behind were the camera was set up waiting to get Kevin Nash's autograph. :D

This must be the first indy show you've ever seen then.

Actually Indy shows (if they are even remotely worthwhile) usually draw at least 200 or so fans. In fairness, I have wrestled a show were the wrestlers outnumbered the fans. :-\

...What you didn't see is that Kevin Nash was next door signing autographs.

Nah, cause if that were the case, Tovo wouldn't have been wrestling, Tovo would have been next door receiving one of those said autographs.

The worst match I've ever seen in my life was between Juventud Guerrera and Chris Chetti at an XPW show. I didn't see it live or anything, but it was god awful. Worst match I ever saw live was Val Venis v Freakin Deacon at Raw about 3 weeks ago. It was the dark match. Usually Val is able to pull someone through a decent match but this one was just horrible.

Should have paid more attention.

Well, when someone says AJ Styles -- Horrible, I think it's understandable.

Maybe. I dont know too much about the indy scene. If a wrestling company has a TV deal, lol then I've bothered to watch their stuff. If not, then no.

I just look at that and think how the mighty have fallen....but then again that can be said about any superstar I guess...

One minute they are selling out huge as venues like MSG then next they are just hoping to sell half the tickets to fill a gym.

But as far as Indy shows go I guess that isnt real bad....There was one near by here where only the front rows around the ring with filled up, It was pretty sad.

95% of wrestling fans don't buy tickets for a specific person. They buy it for the brand. It's why there has never been a single case of a wrestler jumping ship to another promotion that caused a huge spike in ratings. Minor movment at best.

Even Hall & Nash to WCW didn't cause the an imediate spike. It wasn't until the nWo angle really picked up steam, but again, by that point, it wasn't about "Oh my god, Diesel and Razor are in WCW now! OMGzzz!" it was "Hey this nWo thing is pretty bad ass!"

It's also why onecan perceive indy feds as "struggling,' even when they're not.
