Predictions on his future?
He's way more entertaing than Orton IMO.
He's home grown talent so it's guranteed he won't be getting that "WCW push"
I'd like him to feud with Brock but as a face similar to Austin/Rock did
I think anyone he feuds with can be entertaining mainly because he will just rip on anyone.

why do I always create shit threads? :(

It's not really a shit thread. It's just that a lot of people here tend to agree with you, and if there's no real argument, there's not much of a point to posting.
Anyways, I think Cena's got a pretty bright future if he gets to stay on Smackdown. He was able to take a stupid gimmick and get WAY over, and he's got enough in-ring talent to put on decent matches with bad workers, and awesome matches with good ones. He's definitely got a nmuch longer shelf-life than Orton or Lesnar, despite not really getting the McMahon ultra-push like they did.

I'm disgusted that this foul mouthed upstart is going to waste our time battling a talent like the big show at Wrestlemania.

Yeah, Cena is great and I think he may even be Austin Huge in the future. He's got everything you need to be a top guy right now, so we will just have to wait and see how he pans out.

At least he's going OVER Big Show.
Right? Right?

I don't see the WWE knowing what to do with Cena further down the line. He is cool right now, but I don't think his thug gimmick is going to go as far as other people.

He should have a breakthrough year this year (provided he's booked right). I'm about 101% sure he's getting the US title at Mania, which will be the first really big moment in his career. I forsee him and Eddie as the top two babyafces on SD, and I think thats a really good thing.
Cena has a mass appeal, go to any place that young kinds hang out, and a lot of them look like Cena, with the jerseys, the sneakers, the bike locks.....well maybe that'll catch on.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with his CD when that drops, and if its halfway decent he might get some mainstream publicity. MTV is a Viacom station like Spike TV, so there is a huge opportunity for crossover publicity.
Being buddies with Eddie should help him as well. A lot of the young Hispanic people are into the hiphop scene, so they should identify with Cena and standing shoulder to shoulder with Eddie should give hima nice rub with those fans.
I think he'll have to alter his promos a little in the future. I like the rap thing, and I dont think he should go away form that. But, at the same time, I dont think all of his promos have to rhyme. He's gotta be able to keep the 'thug' persona, but use it to cut a wrestling promo instead of a rap. The raps can be part of it, but at some point it should be rare thing, instead of doing it two or three times a show.
I think Cena's future is bright, hopefully he'll continue to improve in the ring, which I think will come with time, and then a year from now I can see him beating Angle or Brock for the WWE title.

Yeah if the WWE and MTV cut a little deal where Cena would go on TRL or Direct Effect or some sh** when his CD drops, that would be great for the business IMO. The WWE needs to bring the young audience back in and Cena is definately the man to do it. I've said it before, but HIP HOP is huge in the States and it is part of mainstream America. I can't go anywhere without seeing a lot of kids dressed like Cena, myself included. Well with the Jerseys and my Seattle Mariners Cooperstown hat. No Lock Chain though. LOL.
Also, I wish they could get Eminem or some big rapper to do a little thing with Cena, kind of like Austin/Tyson in 98.

Yeah.
The sad part is, he's what's IN right now. If they can't book him right, then they're not worth the stains in Rikishi's thong.

Trust me. It's almost guaranteed to happen.

Yeah Eminem would be sweet, thats about as good of a rub as Cena could get, who knows, maybe for Mania next year. You figure next year's show, unless the WWE gets really popular again in the next 9-10 months, will be hard to live up to this show coming up. So, if you had something like Austin vs Brock or Hogan, and then a big star like Eminem doing something with Cena, that might be enough to keep the buyrate strong. I just dont want to see him wrestle.

Well with a bit of luck he beats him with something other than the f-u. Dunno if its just me but a 7 footer taking an extremely weak looking 3 foot or so drop and thats meant to keep him down for a pinfall looks kinda retarded in my book.

Does he still use the 5 knuckle shuffle? Cuz that move kicks ass.

And I think that his style and charisma can draw way more casual fans back into wrestling. He has more drawing power than Orton or anyone else in the WWE right now, IMO.

I gotta agree. It looks pretty weak, especially on people he can barely lift.

Cena gets his ass whooped through all his matches and then at the end pulls out a victory..he needs to be pushed to be tougher than they have him now
CENA next usa champ

Cena when retired:
2 or 3 time U.S Champ
5 time WWE Champ
Possibly a tag title or two
Winner of a Royal Rumble
Place in the Hall of Fame
Cena is almost certainly the next Austin. I know its looking a distance but I think Cena would be a Kick-Ass commentator or General Manager when he retires.

Isn't Proof from D-12 gonna do a rap battle with Cena?
Hopefully Cena doesn't pull a Rock and leave WWE during his prime to go on tour as a hip hop star.

Actually, he's going to star in the sequel to 8 Mile next summer.
