What moves would you like to see as finishers/see again as finishers?

I'd love for someone aside from Cena to pick up his Protobomb (the twisting powerbomb-type deal). I don't know why, but I love that move. In fact, I'd like to see that used instead of the FU.

Big Boot, it was used by Test as a finisher, It looked more brutal and painful then the superkick. Which looks like a love tap with your tow.

I like Big Boots with fast-moving whips. Snaps their heads back.

Seriously thought what do you think would hurt more, a tap under the chin, or a boot to the face. So why is the superkick a finisher, and the big boot a wear-down move :?:

Eric Young used to use a wheelbarrow neckbreaker as a finisher. Was awesome.

I'd like to see RVD bring a chair with him for the 5 STAR. I'd also like to see Sabu use the Atomic Arabian Face Buster again.

Personally, I'd love to see someone try an Osaka stunner modified into a Diamond Cutter type manevour.

I think a running tombstone pile driver would be a great finisher for Lashley. It would just be a slight (albeit, DANGEROUS) variation to his running slam finisher. He seems strong enough to pull it off.

My friend Scott used to like Tyson Tomko explicitly for the big boot. After Tomko was released from WWE, anytime somebody would do a boot to the face, he'd mumble something about "...not as good as Tomko's."

Christian doing the "Unprettier" off the top rope would be pretty badass.

Ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh. If you listen REALLY CLOSELY you can already hear the chant "That was awesome!" coming from Orlando......

HBK's Flying Elbow seems to be quite effective. But he has to pop up and do the Sweet Chin Music thing. HBK can use the flying elbow as a finisher if he becomes heel. Kenny had the worse finisher of the decade when he pinned Eugene on Heat. Randy Orton's Inverted Headlock Backbreaker is nice and effective. Edge-O-matic was far more better than Edge's spear. He could use the Electric Chair drop as a finisher. Cena's Kilswitch Proto-Bomb was nice.

I think Val Venis used to do this (before Cena) in 1999/2000. It actually looked quite sick and definately finisher material. His execution was better than Cena's as he went into a sitout powerbomb.

You know what move I miss, Finger Poke of Doom. Seriously, how bad ass would it be if someone hyped the hell out their super finisher they called the FPD, then when they finally do it, their oppenents sell it like mad.

That's the "Thumb's Up of Doom".

Not to be confused with Batista's "Shakin' Da Ropes Like Da Warriah"...

I'd love to see London & Kendrick bring back Get Well Soon. That was a sweet move. For those that don't know, Kendrick would get the guy and put him in position for a flatliner, and London would leap and roundhouse kick the guy in the back of the head sending him into the flatliner. Good times. If he doesn't, Kendrick should definitely call his flatliner the "Spank Shot". :naughty:

Someone mentioned Eric Young's Youngblood (Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker), and to be honest, I thought of that move when I saw this thread title. The wheelbarrow suplex isn't used enough. Bobby Lashley should try rolling wheelbarrow suplexes one day. That might make me love him.

And yes, someone should start using the Osaka Street Cutter.

Don't ask me why, but I think a nice twist to the Fisherman Buster/Suplex, would be to put some kind of run into it. I can see Lashley doing a mean Running Fisherman Buster.

Ah, yes, that does sound familiar. For some reason the name "Youngblood" does stand out, though. :-\

I'd love to see someone in WWE start using "MMA elbows" like Danielson does.

And while it would never happen, someone using Ryo Saito's premium-plex (Wristclutch dragon suplex) would be badass.

Also, if someone started using a version of the World Liner against Rey Mysterio, I'd mark out.

I wish Hogan would have used the Finger Poke of Doom more often. Sad that it would have killed anyone weaker than Nash, like Goldberg.

Xero

Well, Shawn Michaels has succumbed to it.

Or was it Triple H? Seriously, I can't remember.

Theo Dious
04-05-2007, 02:07 PM
I think it was Shawn. But it wasn't from Hogan. Hogan would have killed HBK so hard that he would never have existed. That's why Michaels agreed to job to Hogan in their match.
