You heard me. I want to watch some god damn wCw. I miss Nash being on top and Benoit not even in the shuffle.

That's next on the list, actually.

Oh really. And I'm impressed that you were able to tell me that without calling me Hilter's favorite son or something. Keep this up and you might just earn a gold star.

I dont think a rise and fall of WCW is going to happen anytime soon. Unless they are for some reason about to do a storyline.

I'd personally like to see a rise and fall of WWE dvd set.
That'd be cool.

It is more of a rise and fall and rise again but not as high and fall again and rise again, and fall and peter out, and fall and kinda get back up and fall, then level off of WWE dvd set.

Just wait a few years for TNA to buy them out...

I was thinking the same thing last night, I was watching the Rise and Fall of ECW and was wishing for a WCW one.
Of course, they're not gonna make a WCW brand, so it'll never happen.
Monday Night War.
That would probably be their justification for not making one. I've been waiting for a more in-depth look at WCW though, personaly froma financial/business standpoint...since their turn-around was, frankly, really amazing and o.O from a business view.
I heard some people mention 'The Death of WCW' or something as a good read...is that what it's called?

I think so, I spent like an hour reading it in a bookstore a while back, and it was highly informative and seriously goddamn funny.
Death of WCW was a really great book, if you haven't read it it's a must for any wrestling fan. As well as the WrestleCrap book.
RD Reynolds is awesomeness and I will be picking up the WrestleCrap Book of Lists when it comes out.

It gets so sarcastic towards the end too, especially with the whole Finger Poke of Doom/Goldberg's race against time across the street to try to stop it.
I loved the little tidbits like Chris Jericho figures ringing up as Hogan figures so he got all the profits.

Hogan's merch numbers were overstated? THE HELL YOU SAY, BROTHER!
Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

I always suspected that any generic "WWF" or "WWE" merchandise always went into Hogan's totals.
I wonder how much in teeshirts he went through himself ripping them off all the time.

Someone should make a Photoshop version of the potential cover of said DVD ;)

Yeah, split in half diagonally, on the left under "rise," a photo of Bischoff in an nWo shirt, on the other, one of Russo holding the WCW title.

I read a bit of the death of WCW... it sounded ok until it mentioned how a talented wrestler like Perry Staurn got mis-used... then I realised the book was a piece of crap.

wwe releasing a rise and fall dvd may be dramatic irony when considering the state they are in.

I used to prefer Nitro to Raw during the late 90s. They had heel Hogan, the Outsiders, Goldberg Bret Hart, Sting, DDP, Eddie & Chavo Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Paul White, the list goes on. Then all their star power jumped ship and they fucked themselves up the ass with Russo and Arquette. I wouldn't mind a new WCW dvd, never seen Monday Wars as I've heard it makes WCW look weak as shit when they were kicking McMahon's ass.
Just wait a few years for TNA to buy them out...
Haha...priceless...

You should look into Eric Bischoff's Controversy Creates Cash. He goes into great detail about the business side, moreso than the wrestling side, I would say.
