Because I really think they've been doing better on all accounts since WM23. It's only been a couple of weeks, but they've got three decent main event feuds on raw (Randy/edge, cena/hbk, umaga/lashley/mcmahon) and the tag team division is looking a lot better. They've been building up Flair Carlito really well, and the show as a whole is pretty damn entertaining.

As for ECW it's begginning to get a lot more charecter based and more like the old ECW all the time, with spots that remind me of ECW (Dreamer/Thorn outside the ring) and Char. Dev. with Snitsky and Punk that's pretty awesome. The whole new breed v. originals being the backdrop for the whole show is great.

Smackdown's never really been that bad in my opinion and it's doing alright still.

It may be because I haven't been online in a few days and may not be so jaded by you guys, but I really think WWE is on the up right now.

Well they do have to hold people's interest. Throwing out good storylines is a last-minute WWE technique to hang onto viewership.

I've felt like its been a mixed bag. Some stuff after Wrestlemania has been pretty solid. Though, I felt all of RAW on Monday was complete garbage.

I don't watch ECW and rarely watch Smackdown as it feels like a B show everytime I watch it. But Raw has been shit.

I've been intrigued by every show since WM23.

^ Intrigued is not the same as entertained. I have also been intrigued, but not exactly entertained by Raw, Smackdown however has been picking up.

Are you kidding me? They revealed who the writer was this past Raw: That Make-A-Wish kid. The entire staff consists of second graders.

Ok, well, I've been entertained...

Mostly by Raw and ECW, I guess SD! has been intriguing...

I dont' get it. I've tried to be entertained by Raw but I haven't been. A shitty main event ruins the whole thing for me. Bobby Lashley vs McMahon is no Austin vs McMahon.

I wish I could actually watch more of Smackdown. Ever since it moved to Fridays I think I've only gotten to watch like 4 or 5 episodes.

The raw after wrestlemania felt like they had forgot to write anything for after wrestlemania. It seemed chucked together in minutes. The only good thing was the return of Mickie James.

This weeks raw seemed solid, Shanes slap to Estrada and stare down with Umaga was quite entertaining. The 4 way title chase has me intrigued. Shawn used his old music again. I'm not keen on Lashley but the fact that Raw and Ecw has started to feel like the old raw and smackdown days with the crossovers is nice.

And this week saw Khali get no TV time. I'd say raw is on the up :y:

Been enjoying SD recently. Last Friday's episode was solid with some good matches and good angles. Thought RAW was terrible on Monday and I don't watch ECW so cannot comment on it.

I'm sorry, but the last Raw was TOO boring. Like, it wasn't "duhh" boring, but just that there could be so much more talent/story build. You could hear "boring" chants at the end of RAW. It just seems like things are getting put together at the last minute. My thoughts:

-Orton is STILL getting boos and i'm telling people that he will NOT be the main eventer he could potentially be until he wrestles The Rock at next year's WrestleMania. The WWE just doesn't know how good they could cash in on that.

-Estrada needs to start wrestling so that he can become a prime time player. His look, accent, and mic skills could get over with the fans in a heart beat. They already shout along with him when he says his name. Trust me...

-It seems like when the McMahons are in the main fueds (post WrestleMania X-7), the product is either getting stale or they have run out of ideas. Maybe that is just me but there could be some great matches if shows were put together right.

-Undertaker & Cena's entrances at WrestleMania 23 were some of the best i've ever seen. That WrestleMania is in my top 5 list anyway, but yea..

-That intercontinental title has to come off of Umaga's waist or something because basically he is "just champ". Like, there STILL isn't any credibility on it right now. Take it off of him, send him to ECW, and get the IC title back in the mix on RAW. That title MADE careers in the WWE.

You'd think so, but then you realize they did the worst double pinfall in history and might have done the worst heel turn in history with CM Punk (that remains to be seen).

My grandfather grew up watching the AWA when it was up here in Minnesota...everytime we talk about wrestling, he goes off about back in the day stuff.

Pretty comical when compared to today's wrestling.

DQ's were givin out for anything done in the WWE nowdays, jumping off the top rope was a DQ, the whole nine yards about the rules.

Wow, Sounds like I should download some torrents of the shows.

The majority of the things you mention liking since WrestleMania are simply the continuation of angles and feuds that led IN to WrestleMania. Edge vs Orton, Cena vs Michaels, Lashley vs Umaga... all have months of build up. Carlito/Flair angle has been running for several weeks now. New Breed vs Originals has been going for a couple months.

So, no. No new writers.

Raw:

I enjoyed the last Raw. I didn't wach the main event tho because I can't b bothered with lashley. i really can't stand that whole Lashley VS umaga, estrada, vince, shane feud. These type of feuds just annoy me, it just reeks of Cena VS Christian, Jericho, Bishcoff. These type of feuds just become so predictable.

The World title scene on Raw is excellent at the moment, and flair-carlito is interesting also. The tag title scene is pretty good too, altho I really wished that WGTT had the shot not Cade n Murdoch. Hopefully their time will come @ Judgement day or something...
Womens title scene is also interesting.

ECW:

Is going the best it has. I really wish they'd put the title on one of the new breed or originals tho, and also mae a tag team. I guess it would just make it what they're fighting for all that more important.

SMackdown:
Well, smackdown is just awesome. Best wrestling show I'veever seen (having missed the attitude era). Title scene is interesting, MVP - Benoit is getting really good and the tag team scene is cool also. But the best part of Smackdown at the moment is the midcard. Finlay, Matt Hardy, Booker, Kane - its all really fun to watch

If you thought they were doing better on all accounts then you HAD to have missed raw last monday. Blah.

ECW has been better for about the past two weeks, but I really don't have the faith in the product or the writers or the anything to believe that it will last...

I'm going to be honest here. I hate the Carlito/Flair thing.
