View Full Version : Maybe it's just because I'm a mark for him...

But if the WWE really wants to get back at Hulk Hogan, they should have Richard Belzer make an appearance on RAW and shoot on him. I'd mark out like a little bitch.

For those who don't know, Hogan put a front facelock on Belzer, and legitimately choked him out for a few seconds. Belzer sued Hogan and won $5 million. I'm curious as to whose side people take in the argument. Personally I'm in support of Belzer. Hogan was so fucking careless when he put the move on, you could tell, he was blocking off Belzer's air just because they felt like being asses. It'd be like The Rock choking out Conan O'Brien because he made a joke about smelling fear on The Rock in Conan's presence.

Anyway, joint question:

* Whose side do you take in Hulk Hogan vs. Richard Belzer

* Would you mark out for a stand-up comedian coming on RAW and cutting a shoot promo some time?

OK, i find that storyline dumb, only because I hate celebrities in storylines.

And I'm on Belzer's side.

I did a radio interview yesterday to promote a show and the producer asked me to show him some moves, I put in him a chicken wing (Backlund approved of course) applied some pressure but not to the point where you hurt a guy.

Haha, yeah, I was only suggesting it in a "Wouldn't you love to see Little Guido shoot on half the roster and become a the world's smallest badass" way. It wouldn't really make sense or anything.

I think it would be kind of interesting if Bobby Lashley brought him in to make some jokes at Vince McMahon's expense. "Hey Vince, remember us? It's the guy that successfully sued you and Hogan for $5 million. And it's the guy who shaved your head bald at WrestleMania. And it's the XFL. And you thought we forgot."

Lashley doesn't have the personality of a Rock or Stone Cold, so having him bring in embarrassing figures from Vince's past could be an interesting way to build the storyline. Maybe have Trish Stratus even make a cameo and show her turning on Vince at WrestleMania X7. Have a Lashley develop a list of moments that might just be more embarrassing than when Bobby Lashley, Donald Trump and Stone Cold Steve Austin shaved his head bald.

I like that, for those the picks for me would be:

Vince pissing himself
Singing at the hall of fame
Having his head up show's ass
Getting covered in shit

I wouldn't use Belzer only because mainstream won't know the details behind the story. Plus that would be advertising Hogan when he could be outdrawing WWE on a legends tour

Those are great ideas. :y:

Yeah, I was just kind of thinking out loud with the Belzer thing, because I saw the video on YouTube, and it kind of pissed me off that all the Hulk Hogan marks were having a cry because Hogan got his ass sued for being a reckless son of a bitch.

Another idea that I'm not really serious about, but would mark out like a little bitch for if it happened: Bobby Lashley is going through some of the embarrassing things that have happened to Vince McMahon over the years, and one week he tells Vince that embarrassing things are still happening to him, and he doesn't even know about them. At that moment, Val Venis appears in bed with Stephanie.

The next week, you can have Viscera in bed with Linda.

A storyline where Bobby Lashley brings up Vince's shameful memories could actually make me care about him somewhat.

Dude, you have to realise that Val Venis isn't going to get involved in Heat matches, let alone main event storylines

Haha, I know. I did say I wasn't suggesting it seriously. If it did happen, it'd just be a one off thing. Vince would probably fire Val and Vis, or have them beat-down to put over Umaga. Not a main event push or anything.

Richard Belzer, as in former comedian, actor on Law and Order Richard Belzer?

I side with anyone in any argument over Hogan. Belzer isn't funny, though as KK pointed out, his run on Law & Order has been anjoyable (gotta love him and Ice-T as partners). And hell no, I am so sick and fucking tired of WWE bringing in celebs. They have so many wrestlers that despite three different brands, they STILL can't find things for all of them to do. No need to add more NON wrestlers to the mix.

Celebrity involvement in WWE should be limited to "hey, look who's in the stands."

I love his John Munch character. If anyone investigates the molestations in the WWE lockerroom, it should be him. :shifty:

I've only see one of his stand-up acts, and it wasn't bad. I personally think the guy is pretty funny. He's funnier when he's being more "alive" than deadpan.

I'm sorry, Alienoid, but that's the worst idea you've ever suggested.

Bringing Hulk Hogan back in any capacity. :nono:

I've got to admit, if they played the L&O Bumper music on Raw, and he came out, I'd mark out for a second.

Otherwise, I'd side with him because he's the not Hogan choice, but otherwise, no.
