View Full Version : Discussion: Shane McMahon could have been a solid mid-card spot monkey
Now, we've all seen Shane's matches. They aren't great, but he knows how to work the crowd with his big spots and wow them. Obviously, if he WERE to be a full-time wrestler, he would have gotten main event treatment. But if he was never associated with the McMahon name, I think he could have made a decent mid-card wrestler in the same vein as the Hardys in WWE, and maybe even had been a major player in the Cruiserweight division in WCW or the X Division in TNA.

Just wanted to add that he's pretty damn good on the mic.

He could be the Blue Blazer no problem.
^ Oh my God, that would be awesome!

And highly inappropriate...
I don't know. The physical toll of wrestling full-time is much different than doing one match a year when you get all the weapons and full authorization to do crazy spots...I don't think Shane would suck, don't get me wrong, just that it's kind of a difficult thing to think about. He did do well in the Mania match with X-Pac with had none of those things to help him, so maybe he could.

He is better on the stick and in the ring than several former champs. Take it for what it is worth
