Plot Summary: The British Isles that were once infested with ravenous, bloodthirsty maniacs, are now almost completely void of life. Six months after the outbreak of the deadly Rage Virus annihilated the land, London is ready to be repopulated and reconstruction of the country can begin. Under the strict supervision of the U.S. Military, the first wave of refugees is allowed back into the city. I love Zombie movies, and 28 days later is one of my favorites. The best part of Pathfinder was seeing a trailer for this, so yeah, it looks good.

I'd say 28 Day Later was the best of all Zombie movies. I know that's saying a lot when there are the vanguard of them out there, but being objective here...

Oddly enough this is probably one of the few movies that I own that I really have never seen.

My cousin is always talking about it and how good it is but I just havnt had the time to watch it. I guess I will make some time now because the sequel looks pretty good from what Ive seen in previews.

Yeah i saw the railer for this last week.

Loved 28 days later.

However i am always sceptical when the director changes for the sequel. Danny Boyle didn't want anything to do with it which kind of speaks for its' self.

I will go and see it though, and hopefully it will kick arse:y:

this is the problem with movies and entertainment (particularly in America). they cant just leave a good thing alone. if it is successful, they will make a sequel. and if that is successful, they will make another sequel. and so on and so on. television shows too. they milk shit until it's dry.

i honestly never expected them to make a sequel to 28 Days Later, and bad sequels have a way of undermining the original movie. i'm not saying that this will be a "bad sequel" but there is no way it will be as good as the original. i really enjoyed the original movie. it is IMO the best zombie genre movie of all time, especially due to it's originality. i hate to see this great movie become a franchise due to lack of originality in Hollywood.

here are some examples of other needless sequels that have undermined good original movies: The Matrix sequels. the Saw sequels. the Jurasic Park sequels. the Crow sequels. the Rocky sequels

ironically, if the sequels are really, really bad, they tend to disappear without tainting the legacy of the original to as great extent- ie Mortal Kombat sequel(s), From Dusk Til Dawn sequel(s)

Most of the producers of the first have stuck around also, and given the amount of time between the first and this one, I'd like to think it was made for the right reasons and not just to make a quick buck

Yeah saying that producers tend to stay around, if the first film banked them money ten times out of ten they will stay around. Boyle will make a tidy sum as i am sure this will make money.....just saying. It's not exactly about the art is it:lol:

Saw the first one at the pictures when it came out over here, good times. Except when the car alarm went off, it gave me a right shock :mad:

Will wait and see what it's like but much like the other guy further up, I would have been ok if they had left it at 28 days later.

It was okay. Its been so long since I've seen the first that I don't really remember it that well. This one ended at the right time though.

As soon as they went into the subway tunnel near the end you could guess what would happen. I was getting a little bored at that point and hoped they wouldn't drag out the scene.

I really liked how it started. Like way it was going you thought it would be slow till things picked up then BAM things went crazy and you got a huge adrenaline rush. Sadly it did slow down after that until the Mother/Father kiss scene Big Vito mentioned. Overall was pretty good though.

haha I was drunk and actually yelled that out loud...I couldn't help myself...but people lol'd so it was alright.

Good follow up to the first film. I liked the addition of Begby from Trainspotting and Michael from Lost. The helicopter part, though pretty implausible I think, was really fucking cool. Also the daughter in the movie was kinda hot...hopefully she's of age :shifty:
