We have heard many, many different versions of what happened between Charlie Haas and Eddie Guerrero at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping.
It was believed that Guerrero separated his shoulder at the time, but now we’ve learned he hyperextended his elbow. However, Haas apparently didn’t know and was too tough on the injured body part. Guerrero was upset because of that, and punches were thrown backstage.
Chavo Guerrero was reportedly involved as well, but Shelton Benjamin wasn’t.
Guerrero aggravated his injury even more after throwing those punches, but he will not miss any ring time.
Jim Ross and John Laurinaitis finally calmed everyone down and got Charlie and Eddie to shake hands. The general feeling was that Eddie overacted and was too quick to act violently. Haas said he had no idea he was hurt and Eddie apologized.
