View Full Version : I find it funny that...

Undertaker, whose whole reputation is that he's a bad ass, only faces Batista at Backlash. Yet, both Cena and Lashley, who both could be described as bland Superman babyfaces both have to defend their titles against three opponents at Backlash.
I don't know why but I find that kind've funny.
I wouldn't be surprised that at Judgement Day we get the following matches.
Undertaker vs. Finlay - World Heavyweight Title
John Cena vs. Edge, Orton, and Khali - WWE Title
Lashley vs. Snitsky vs. Burke vs. RVD - ECW Title
Ya know, so both Cena and Lashley can go over 3 people at the same time yet again.

Undertaker can't take on multiple men. His hip isn't what it used to be.

Undertaker doesn't have to prove he deserves to be champion, Lashley and Cena do.

Because a bad-ass can only take one bland Superman at a time.
Bland Supermen can take much more.
John Cena can take more than a dozen... because he will SURELY BEAT THE ODDS!!!
I'm thinking that, provided he doesnt get injured before, Mark Henry will have something to do with the match, reigniting his feud with Batista. Anyway, then you may get your four way match with Taker vs Finlay vs Henry Vs Batista

Good, get rid of the whole SD main event scene except for Kennedy in one go.

Undertaker will defend his World title against Kane at Survivor Series in a Survivor Series revenge match. The rules are simple, there are no rules. The ring will be surrounded by a 15 ft. high demonic steel cage structure. Where the only way to win is by putting your opponent into a casket and drive it out the arena and finally unloading the casket into a big hole and burry your opponent alive to leave as winner and World Champion.

Aside from the fact that that was a horribly structured sentence, the idea of a combination casket-ambulance/last ride/buried alive match has a certain wierd appeal.
Too bad the biggest problem with it is that a false finish would take five minutes to play out.

Lawler: I really thought he was going to stay down that time!
JR: Shut the fuck up King, half the crowd is gone and the main event has been cancelled.

Basically Mark Henry is likely to injure everyone in that match including himself, which will decimate the SD main event scene except for the MitB winner, who is not involved in that match.

The John Cena Postulate: John Cena's odds of winning are inversely proportional to the perceived odds.
For example: John Cena's odds of winning a battle royal against Taker, Michaels, Lashley, and Batista are actually better than a one-on-one match versus Val Venis.
