...have been fans of Shawn Michaels since the moment he threw Marty Jeanetty through the Barber Shop window? Just curious, because that was the moment I decided he would be one of my favorite wrestlers forever.

i was a big fan of the rockers...but once Janetty showed what a coward he was by trying to escape through the barber shop window...well that was the day I knew Shawn Michaels would be one of my favorite wrestlers for a long time to come.

I usually taped Superstars every week...when Shawn put Janetty through the window, I probably watched that a hundred times over...I can even remember the article in WWF magazine about the Rockers having trouble (the one that Shawn rips on the segment)

HBK has been my favourite wrestler since the day I started watching wrestling. He is what made me become interested in it and the only thing that has kept my interest down these years.

I can't say that is when I liked him. The first real episode of wrestling I watched what the episode Micheals was talking about giving Canada its fairies back. That is the only thing that really sticks out in my mind about that episode. So from about there on I liked him.

Yeah, I remember seeing that and thinking that, for the first time in my experience, something that was said in WWF magazine was actually significant to the product.

Shawn throwing Janetty through the barber shop window was priceless. He definitely became one of my favorites and eventually my one favorite through the years, realizing how awesome he really is in the ring compared to anyone else. I can only imagine what the Attitude era (circa 98-01) would have been like had he been an active competitor...

It wouldve been funny if he threw Janetty through the window and it didn't break. Then the Shockmaster shows up and crashes through it.

Confetti rains down and the show goes off the air.

I often wonder that myself...could have had long fueds with Austin, Rock, Foley, etc. and put on some great matches.

Huge rockers fan. Wasn't a fan of HBK but I always watched him, and realized that he played the heel perfectly. I actually cared about him as a heel enough to watch and be into him.

In 88 is when I started watching WWE television, and it was only because Tully and Arn went over, quite honestly, as soon as they were done I stopped watching the show (I really was never a die hard WWE fan). Then I admit I stopped watching WWE all together again in 89 when Tully left, and didn't start up watching again until late 91 when FLAIR arrived. Of course the Rockers were around for those couple of years I stopped watching, but honestly I just didn't care enough about them as a team to continue to view the product. But it was right around when FLAIR showed up there when MICHAELS did the barber shop. It was at that point that I became really interested in his character and him as a wrestler. When FLAIR left the company in 93, the only reason I continued to watch was because of MICHAELS. Oh and then of course later on in 93 MICHAELS brought in NASH as his bodygaurd and it was around that point that I watched the product on a whole and didn't turn it off as soon as the people I was interested in were done for the night.
