Was looking for some Scott Hall pictures and happened upon this site: http://www.heyyocreations1.com/ecw/15/

Pictures of Scott Hall in ECW. When did this happen? How long did he stay in ECW? It was obviously after or during the nWo period.

Yeah, it was towards the end of ECW.

I remember that show. I think it was a one night only sort of thing. The booking for him was ridiculous. He wrestled twice that night, the 1st time being squashed by Big Sal from the FBI, then in the main event he took Justin Credible, the ECW champ, to the limit & won by DQ. Never made that much sense to me.

I thought there were never DQs in ECW.

Sorry, didn't think of that. :-\ I'm pretty sure that it was some kind of lameass screwjob, where Hall won but didn't get the title. They didn't want to make him look weak, after he got destroyed by Big Sal earlier in the same night

They were rare, but they happened. One I happen to remember for some reason happened at a house show. Shane Douglas was wrestling Terry Funk, and apparently Francine bit Funk's ear, causing a DQ.

As far as ECW's booking "making sense", it was always meant to look more "real" than other wrestling promotions, and you're not always going to get results that make the best storyline sense if the matches are real.

He was there two nights in a row, and then basically got dropped before the next weekend's shows, due to a DUI during the week. As I recall, it was November 10 and 11, 2000, in Danbury, CT, and Poughkeepsie, NY, respectively, though I could be mistaken on the first show's location. I do remember everyone in my section being really surprised when he came out the first night, but by the second night, everyone was chanting his name outside before the show even started. It was pretty sweet, but it definitely didn't seem like it was going to be any long term kind of thing, which it wasn't. He came in mostly as a favor to Justin Credible, as Shawn Michaels was supposed to make an appearance, but was prevented from doing so at the last minute by Vince.

Yeh, there was always DQ's in ECW dating back to it's best years, but they were few and far between and served a purpose instead of being used as an out.

ECW definitely did the selective booking deal.

Where you can run a DQ one match, and do the exact same thing in the very next match and not have a DQ. Whatever they needed to fit the situation at the moment. You can't fault them too much on that; it is pro-wrestling - and realistically [though that shouldn't be in the same sentence] there is only so much you can do.
