Sick bumps...

...I wanted to talk about them I guess. This can be a pretty open thread, discuss the coolest spot/bumb you've seen, if you are a pro wrestler the sickest bump you've taken, accidents you've gotten hurt doing that might fit in pro wrestling, etc...

Mine, just happened yesterday, Me and a friend were fighting/training sorta not in a real facility, just in a room of my house. We both wrestle, do some martial arts, MMA, etc. Anyway, NOT a big room but has some open floor space. There is a tall (approx. 4 1/2 ft. tall by 1 1/2 ft. wide) mirror sitting on the floor, leaning up against the wall. I've got him at full guard and I'm soft-punching while he's covering up. I say "Alright lets break and stand up again" and apparently he doesn't hear me. I start to stand up and he kicks me dead center of the chest and I fall backwards THROUGH the mirror leaning up against the wall. It shatters, glass everywhere. I roll out of the glass onto my stomach and before anything the FIRST thing he says is, "That was some CZW shit right there!" and I dont really say anything but groan but I'm thinking "How about you get this fucking glass out of my back!"

Anyway, I have three huge lacerations on my back that are bandaged up, one had a piece of glass stuck in it that was about 7 inches long, just stuck in my back when i stood up. And took about 45 minutes to pick out all the tiny glass shards on my shoulders, back, and neck.

So who else has a story to tell?

I concur, I certainly didn't think going through the mirror was "awesome" or anything. And its not like it was intentional or some kind of spot we were trying to do.

I guess you can't really call it a bump but I guess the story belongs on this thread.

A few years ago I was at my Dojo for Ju-Jitsu and wer were practicing roundhouse kicks. I'm not flexable at all but I was trying to see how high of a roundhouse I could do. Well my friend had the force shield up by his head and I went to kick the force shield but then my other foot slips out from under me, and I fall on my back. The whole class laughed and I got up to redeem myself I went for another kick and this time I didn't rotate my foot at all and it locked under me and I feel again. So now everyone is laughing their asses off. I deside not to tempt fate so I just go for simple waist height roundhouses. Well I go for that kick and I lock my leg under me one more time, and fall again. At this point I feel like a total jack ass but I desided that I'm going to hit the force shield really hard to redeem myself. This time I kick as hard as I can, perfect form I pivit my foot perfectly, and my jackass friend steps back and I totally miss the force shield spin around like a Bugs Bunny cartoon and fall on the floor. For the rest of the class I refused to throw any kicks.

The weird thing about that is I had never fallen because of sloppy technique before that and I've only really fallen one since then, it was just stupid. After that class I practiced like 1000 roundhouse kicks before the next class.

I dove over my friends two story balcony about eight years ago, kind of like a suicide dive, bruised both my kidneys and could'nt walk for 3 days, oh yeah pissed blood too.

This is me receiving a choke slam. The idea is for me to jump and fall down on my own, however, this guy had different ideas and as I jumped up he actually pushed me down, thus turning me around in mid-air. I landed on my head and kinda folded up in a horrible mess. Everyone was shit scared I was dead or summit... I was kinda pissed that he didn't cover me or summit. :mad:

Anyway, the crazy thing is that when it was all said and done I had a sprained arm. :shifty:

Also, I was pissed coz I thought nobody caught it on camera, but thankfully someone did. :yes:

OMG Noble's old ring! And there's that fat kid in the background that was fecking shite and didn't sell for beans! Man those were the days.

For me the worst bumps I've been involved in, I've taken a back bump off the apron to the floor, which was pretty dam stupid thinking back.

I used to do a Foley style elbow off the Apron, not a bump really but still!

I did get concussed with a pile driver on the floor cos my head wasn't protected.

And I got knocked silly with 2 leg drops 2 different positions, one guy basically landed on my head

Me and my cousin were on the trampoline just messing about, we had this thing going where my cousin was going to toe kick me, I grab his leg and flip him up then he does a backflip and when he lands do a drop kick...
He toe kicked me, I grabbed his leg, he did the backflip but went off the trampoline and landed on the concrete, he sprained his ankle.
