View Full Version : Lashley Injured Last Night At Backlash
Source: WWE.com, PWInsider.com
WWE.com is reporting that former ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley suffered a shoulder injury during his match at last night’s Backlash pay-per-view from Atlanta, Georgia. Lashley was sent to Birmingham, Alabama today to be diagnosed by Dr. James Andrews.
According to at least one backstage source, Lashley has been dealing with some nagging shoulder injuries for awhile and it is likely that he had just been working through the pain long enough to drop the ECW title. Expect Lashley to be out of action while he undergoes treatment.

That sucks for Bobby Lashley since he has been given the push of his life and now it could all be over because of this injury.
Didn't help that his finisher involves his shoulder heavily.

Be relieved as this gets WWE out of what would've been an odd situation with Lashley just hanging around while the new breed/originals feud.

^ If there's a silver lining, that's it right there. McMahon will definitely make the feud even more interesting, regardless of whether you hate him or not.

CM Punk for champ over McMahon, there's no way RVD is going over if he's leaving, a heel can't have it, unless he gives the title to Umaga. No other faces on the roster are in favour IMO

I could see Umaga as ECW champion. I've been hoping for it for a while.
