I dont know if its Media player or what here. But say I go to a site and download a video that shows in Windows Media Player, it will load, but it won't play. When I hit play, it just remains black. Anyone know whats wrong with that?
Could be a codec issue.
Do you hear audio? Also, is it just one site or does it happen on all sites? I assume that it isn't an embedded video.
When websites take a big bandwidth hit their videos will usually have a hard time playing. That's what this sounds like to me.

I can't hear audio cause I can't get it to play.
Go to WWE.com or Wrestlinggonewrong and go to any video. The vid will show up in a black box, then the play button will light up. I'll hit play and then the stop button will light up and nothing will play. No audio, no nothing. I did download the latest version of media player, too. I used to go to WWE.com and play videos all the time, now nothing happens.
Sounds like an embedded issue, I have issues once in a while with embedded videos. Don't know why though.
Have you tried another browser?

Whats another browser besides Mozilla and IE? Havent tried IE actually.....
Try IE, lol.
If it happens on both it's probably WMP's browser integration.

Tried Opera. It did the same thing with the media player.
