Not the whole Elite package, just the stand alone 120gb hard drive.

Maybe, depends if they launch the video marketplace over here.

Not worth it, is it?

(Posting in both threads in case I post in the deleted one).

Its only really worth it if you download loads of tv shows/movies etc IMO.

Unless they start offering 600MB+ (PSX etc sized) Arcade games I'm not going to bother.

I'm just waiting for the chance to connect any drive to the 360.

How much are movies/tv shows to download? I recall hearing some South Park episodes were free for awhile. If they are good price, would be interested in downloading them when I get the system.

TV is about $1-2 an episode (less for seasons I think) and movies range anywhere from like $5-$16 or so I think. Haven't checked the prices in a while.

I heard that there was a problem with the 120 GB when you transfer your stuff over. I read on a website that due to copyright issues and other things like that , that if you transfer your XLA games over you have to be connected to the net at all times to play it because it has to verify who you are.

And if you've got movie rentals on your 20GB drive, they wont transfer over to the 120 drive.

There are sites like consolesource.com that have gadgets that let you connect any hard drive to your 360.

Yeah, this is a shitty way to do business.
