One step up from Miz isn't exactly "good".

Guessing it's interference though.

If they are going to make Kennedy give the pin to a Hardy, can it at least be to the Hardy who's over and did all the work to get both of them over? Hell Lita did more to get Matt over than Matt did.

Wow that looks like a really bad show.

Weird that I'm sticking up for One-Trick-Kennedy...but M.Hardy really is completely worthless.

Lita made Matt flop.

Wonder how they'll make that not happen.

Also, at my poor ass for not affording tickets.

It's funny that everyone bitched and moaned when Matt got fired, because he was "the better Hardy" and now people aren't even batting an eyelash to Hardy.

Yeah, really bad is correct.

Neither Hardy is good, but at least one of them makes up for his lack of skills with destroying his body for the sake of a few "Holy Shit" spots.

*Has never understood how the Hardys got so over.*

You were gone when Matt got released a few years ago, but everyone here was moaning and groaning about them releasing someone as talented as Matt.

And in any sense I think he is better than Kennedy since Matt has actually entertained me over the years whereas Kennedy has put me to sleep numerous times.

Something to do with the theme music and ladder matches i would guess thats about it, and people can relate to their gimmick i suppose.

Girls mark out for them because they're cute little emo boys.

I'd put both of them in the boring as hell department, but Kennedy is Mr. Money in the Bank, it makes no sense putting one half of the Tag Champs over the guy who should be at a moment's notice the World Champ. Personally I don't give a shit, I just think it's another stunning case of piss poor booking/planning.

P.S. I think I was back from my hiatus when Matt got the boot, infact I know I was cause I remember it was around ONS and I know I was here for that.

Well when Edge was MITB, he lost in kind of matches like that. Hell he even lost to Matt once or twice during their feud while Edge was MITB.

It's not a big deal really, it's not like he lost to someone the fans don't care about.

Now if he randomly jobbed to Val Venis, yes that would be bad booking.

But losing to Matt isn't as bad a people make it seem. Since he was also in MITB with Kennedy, they could turn this into a mini-Smackdown feud to keep One-Trick occupied for a few weeks.

Wasn't Matt Hardy the first go to beat Kennedy a while back?

People,

Guys can't go over all the time, and Kennedy is going to be on the push of his life from November onwards, now is the best time for him to give the rub to some other guys.

Plus it was mentioned a few weeks ago that he was in line for a push

DARK MATCHES

Chuck Palumbo def. Daivari
(Palumbo has muscled up quite a bit since his WWE days, he also has a new gimmick, sorta American Bad Ass Undertaker type, he wears black pants, and rides a motorcycle out and around the ring. He went over with a big boot to the face but got the crowd really going when, after the match, he got on his back and did a burn out that filled the ring with smoke.)

Some Guy def. Funaki
(Sorry I didn't get the name, the guy was huge however, he went over Funaki pretty easily though, the crowd didn't care for this match at all)

Next It was Time For Smackdown!

WWE SMACKDOWN

JBL & Cole both came down to JBL's theme, and after that it was to the opening video package, no opening pyro or nothing (WHICH SUCKED!)

Boogeyman w/ Little Boogeyman def. William Regal w/ Dave Taylor (via / D.Q.)
(Kane came out to make the save after Taylor interrupted the match and chased both him and Regal threw the crowd.)

Teddy Long came on the screen talking about how it was an honor to be in the presence of a "Hall Of Famer" and then they showed Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes was there trying out for the GM's Assistant job but turned it down when he found out it was just as an assistant.

Brian Kendrick w/ Paul London def. Domino w/ Deuce & Cherry
(Kendrick hit the "Slice Bread" off of Deuce who was standing on the apron just after elbowing London in the injured ribs.)

Matt Hardy def. Mr. Kennedy
(Awesome match, this was one of the two best matches of the night, Hardy has really stepped up his game, several near falls by both men, Kennedy also busted his lip or nose, I couldn't tell which after spilling over the top rope. Hardy won with the "Twist Of Fate")

Batista came out and cut a promo, talking about how he thought about walking away from it all after loosing the belt but he just couldn't do it, and that he will get his revenge and his belt.

Teddy Long came back up on the screen, this time however it was with MVP, MVP was complaining about how he deserves another shot at the U.S. title, but instead Long booked for the nights main event, MVP vs. Kane! Winner gets a shot at Benoit for the U.S. Title.

Crew then set up a stage with candles that took about five minutes of work just for Maryse to do five seconds of talking and introduced the next match.

Jimmy Wang Yang def. Gregory Helms
(Decent match)

Undertaker came on the screen and cut a promo on Batista where he announced next week on Smackdown, Undertaker vs. Batista

The lights go out while a video package plays during which time a group of guys come running down to the ring and you can easily tell Hornswoggle is in between them and gets under the ring.

Finlay def. The Miz (via Count Out)
(Hornswoggle pulled Miz under the ring where he stayed for a moment, when he finally came back out he was wearing Hornswoggle's hat but instead of getting back in the ring he just walked out and got counted out.)

The announcer announced that the next match was the main event, and then we would be going live on Sci-Fi for ECW!, Followed by Finlay vs. Batista!

Crew set the candle stage back up for Maryse again, only for her to again do five seconds of talking to announce the main event next.

MVP def. Kane
(Regal & Taylor came out and got involved costing Kane the match, so MVP gets another shot at Benoit now)

Didn't stay around for the dark match so I don't know who won between Batista vs. Finlay but I do know that I never so Hornswoggle return to the back after Finlay's first match so....

LOUDEST POPS

GOOD
1. CM Punk
2. Batista
3. Lashley
4. Matt Hardy
5. ECW Expose

Biggest
1. Mr. McMahon
2. MVP
3. Elijah Burke
4. Mr. Kennedy
5. The Miz

I think you answered your own question. They got over because Jeff did crazy shit in matches. Their overhauled look in 99, the first few ladder matches, and Jeff's propensity to risk his life made them a draw. Plus they were a credible tag team that wasn't gimmicky or forced, but a natural duo. It was like The Rockers with a hardcore gimmick and made "cool".

Plus E&C and The Dudleys both played a part in helping them get over, just like the Hardys helped those teams get over. They all fed off eachother for that time period to the point where all 3 teams and the TLC schtick became a main event draw in itself.

Theo Dious

Out of those 3 teams I think E&C were the only ones who could really have gotten over without the other 2.

Hornswaggle is going to do a voodoo angle where he too over The Miz's soul!
