I still think it's too soon for Kennedy to become World Champion.
They should give him more time to gain experience, in-ring time and to really come into his own and establish himself. Give him a road to the title at least, one that takes him a long while to get there.

He's not getting a title shot till next March and who says he's going to win?

You mean like the entire year coming up, which it would appear is exactly what they're doing?

Yeah but when things hit a bump in WWE, plans like that can go right out the window.

Well maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but I like to give things a chance to fuck up first.

Think of how sick it would have been if Taker stayed healthy and retained until next 'Mania, and Kennedy challenged him then after an entire year of build up.

Apparently the plan is for The Undertaker to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Batista at the next SmackDown! tapings, and for Batista to either win the WHT, or for The Undertaker to retain, and for Mr. Kennedy to cash in.
I'd rather seem the make Batista a three-time Champ, and then have Mark Henry "injure" The Undertaker. Sure he's not the world's greatest wrestler, but before his injury, he was being built up as a pretty credible heel force, the fans were getting into him, and he was feuding directly with Batista. A match between Batista and Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title at Judgment Day won't win any awards, but it's a logical direction for SmackDown! to take, and doesn't really hurt anybody.

I also don't think they should wait until WrestleMania to pull the trigger on Mr. Kennedy. I think he will be ready for the Title post-Summerslam, definitely around Survivor Series time. I think he will make a great heel Champion defending heading into WrestleMania.
Although the idea continues to grow on me (I know I'll end up loving it), of Mr. Kennedy challenging for the World Heavyweight Title in his second WrestleMania match. I can just imagine the fourth WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match being held, and Mr. Kennedy still not using his title shot, because he secured it for a match against the World Heavyweight Champion. They then have Mr. Kennedy win the match cleanly, and so begins the Kennedy era.
I won't complain if they do have him win his first piece of gold in 2007, though. I think the man is definitely ready.

Ok lets say the plan does change and Kennedy wins the Title due to MITB...unless they drop Batista completly off the title chase...can Kennedy really have a good match with Dancin' Dave?

If they rush Kenndedy push and put the title on him to soon it would be a disaster, and also ruin his push and just become another talented guy who got the belt to early, then drop it a month later only to never to be champion again.

I agree. Kennedy will be champ by the end of WM24. That's when he should win the title. Not a day earlier.

I don't mean to be correcting you, but I believe in the first line the word is meant to be treble, not trouble, as in instance 4 from dictionary.reference.com:
<TABLE class=luna-Ent><TBODY><TR><TD class=dn vAlign=top>4.</TD><TD vAlign=top>a high or shrill voice or sound. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>:y:

Actually, in one of his blogs, it has the lyrics to the song, and it's 'trouble', not 'treble'.

Or, more specifically, a setting on most audio units, be they car stereo, home audio, etc. You know, the thing you turn up, until it gets too loud. ;)

The lyrics posted that contain some pretty visible typoes? Yeah, can't refute that.

Well, all I'm saying is that he is Ken Kennedy, and he posted the lyrics to his theme song. I didn't bother reading the whole thing, since there's, you know, no fucking point really.

And it makes so much sense. I mean, he wrote and sung the song, and reading the lyrics for any semblence of accuracy when using them to bolster a claim would just be stupid.
I mean come on, knowing what the fuck you're talking about? That is so GAY!
