What are your thoughts on this? I know it pissed off quiet a few wrestlers, but seriously was it all that wrong? I'm looking at it from the adminstrative point of view, it actaully make sense.

Who, Matt Hardy or Capolli?

I'm just saying it is fairly pointless to track down a wrestler, or have a wrestler fly into the the central office just to give him a pink slip. You could fire them via phone, but then you still have to send them their walking papers. Just send them, calls are dumb.

Hardy.

I think I would rather be fired over the phone or via fed-ex if I was a professional wrestler. Otherwise you're jumping on a long flight thinking your going to be going to work, only to get there and be told that you are fired and jump back on a plane all the way home. I would consider it as being a waste of fucking time to fly all the way out somewhere just to be told that you are fired.

Just have Vince announce them on Raw each week, he can then wish them luck on their future endeavors.

Honestly who cares? It's not got anything to do with us... But from a buisness stand point, if I were a small balding corporate executive sitting behind my desk with papers all over it staring at a 6'5 250 pound gorilla, with the goal of telling him he was fired, I think I'd pray for fed ex.

If anything it'd be more appropriate than anything else to fire Hardy by making a "Matt, you're fired" MySpace page.

It doesn't really matter. You're getting fired regardless of how it gets done.

Why is Matt getting fired this time? Did he find a new girlfriend, and is Edge sleeping with her too?

I think they should buy AD space in the hometown paper of the wrestler to announce it. With a nice build-up for the guy too. Something like....

WWE is Proud To Announce That
YOUR Hometown Hero and WWE Superstar
[Insert Superstar's Gimmick Name Here]

Has Been Released Effective Immediately

We wish him luck in his future endeavors.

[Then plug the next on-sale date in the town].

Personally, I would find it disrespectful, or perhaps more accurately, like a shot at me, telling me I'm not important enough for you to take the time to at least give me a phone call. Calls may be "dumb", but they're more personal, and give more of the feeling of "no hard feelings", if you will...but that's just my take on it.

Personally, if I'm ever fired, it'll likely be at my workplace, so...

Oh yeah, telling someone to their face is best, but with wrestlers living all over the goddamn continent it isn't always practical.

Oh, you mean that kid that was holding up the white sign written in black permanent marker that said, “Vote for me 4 the new sign guy”?
