Does anyone notice that every single one of the rotating main stories on the main page is about Edge winning the World Title? Why are they spoiling their own show???

Yeah, I think they knew that enough of us guessed the outcome that it wouldn't matter, so this way they're hyping the shit out of it instead.
It pissed me off, i figured it would happen but i didnt want to know for sure untill i watch the show, then i go on their website and its plastered all over the place. Bastards! Still, good news what happened!
So you can't
That's exactly it. They're trying to compete with the insider sites, so they're doing it in a way that takes away their biggest news.
I remember around 2001/2002 they were posting full spoilers for a while.

They're basically trying to neutralize the supposed "negative effect" spoilers have on the product. What they don't realize if they just put out a consistently watchable product, spoilers would have that "DAMN I GOTTA SEE THAT!" quality on their own.

They did the same thing when Kurt won the WHC last year.
Pisses me off too. I never read spoilers, I pretty much knew it was going to happen, but still. I hate being spoiled.

Maybe they were trying to work out another "Mankind wins the title. Yeah, that'll put a lot of butts in the seats" reverse psychology thing.
People know a title change will occur, curiosity will make them watch.

Thing is, it looks even more stupid calling it 'friday night Smackdown' now.

It worked with Foley winning the title on Monday Night Raw
That, and WCW spoiling it.
