Yeah it is, I didn't even realize he was employed by WWE.
It is like when I heard Bob Hope died, I was all like, "Wait, he was still alive?"
At least he doesn't have to return as Flash Funk...

rofl @ that. Signing him, keeping him employed for nearly a year, but not making him work on television, and then just releasing him.

WWE had 2 problems: Not enough money wasted, and no reason to fire smark favorites.

LOL, the WWE are idiots. I bet they say "they had nothing for him."
At least Scorpio can now go back to Japan, where he was having quite a bit of success. Ring of Honor and TNA are also viable options, I guess. I'm not sure how good Scorpio still is at his age, but the guy was a pretty competent wrestler, wasn't he?

The last match I saw Scorpio in was against Kid Kash at the 2005 Hardcore Homecoming event and he was still in great wrestling shape. His match with Kid Kash stole the show in my opinion.

Damn.
I for one am VERY surprised by this.
Especially coming off the major run they just gave him there, arguably his best out of his three stints with the company. I can't believe this. :(
