Well, see I would have gone with Hassan, except that it was only his gimmick that he was to be Arabic in WWE, whereas in real life, he’s Italian, so I went with the next best choice, Sabu.

I'm reading this as "Wrestler with a Middle-Eastern gimmick." None of those guys is technically Arabian, I believe. The Iron Shiek is Iranian, and Iranians are not Arabs.

Why was Rikishi ever billed as an Arab, and further more why was Yoko ever billed as Japanese, why couldn't they both just be Somoan?

Stranglely enough, the owner of the resturant actaully knows Iron Shiek. Shiek and the owner's brother trained together and both worked with olympic wrestler, though I'm pretty sure only Shiek went crazy.

No. I know Sheik and Sabu’s family pretty well. They (including Ed Farhat and Terry Brunk, their real-life names) are from Lebanon.:y: Remember, they have family that lives within minutes of me, so I should know...

Yeah, it helps to be from the Arabian peninsula. But I'm not sure where Arabia ends and other peoples begin. I just know that Iran is old Perisa and Lebon is probably not considered Arabian in the strictest sence of the word. Much like France isn't considered German.

In Kayfabe Sabu is Indian. But it's well known him and his uncle are from Lebanon. His uncle was one of the first in his family to immigrate.
