Seriously, what's with all these "Who watched" threads?

So this has a point, discuss the lack of cool finishers in the WWE these days.

Tag teams need joint finishers again. Has any team other than MNM had a cooperative finisher lately?

I agree with you, but I've actually gone over things, and quite a lot of tag teams actually have joint finishers.

The Highlanders: Hot-Scot Slingshot/Scot Drop

Cryme Tyme: G-9

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch: Sweet & Sour/Hi-Lo

Deuce & Domino: Crack 'Em in the Mouth

The Hardys and London & Kendrick also have moves, but the WWE doesn't let them bust 'em out too often.

I think what we need is for teams we actually CARE about to get cooperative finishers.

True. And it's mostly due to the fact that I haven't caught a lot of these guys yet to see them do finishers.

That's probably because the WWE has the brilliant idea of jobbing most of their teams out to Umaga, or something.

It seems like standard wrestling moves are beginning to be used more and more as finishing moves. Johnny Nitro and Mr. Kennedy have both busted out Neckbreakers to finish matches recently. Yeah, Rick Rude did it, but he was Rick fucking Rude. Nitro is one of the more "spotty" wrestlers on the roster, so I'm sure he can come up with something more modern than the Neckbreaker.

Mr. Kennedy has not only been guilty of using the Neckbreaker, but also the DDT. I'd mark out for it if he called it the "KenneDDT...KenneDDT," though.

MVP has been a victim of the WWE taming itself, and he can't bust out his apparently awesome "Malicious Intent" spinning back kick. Besides that, I much preferred his running powerslam into a reverse DDT. That move looks a lot more deadly than the Overdrive.

Tag Team division needs to be built up and quit firing half a team.

I let myself go a bit, should've watched my weight!

Kane Knight neg-repped me for this thread. He really is a bitter bastard. But seeing as he brought my attention back to it, I want to be positive about this new Ray Gordy/Devon Driscoll team. At least it's not Henry Godwinn in there.

Apparently not 1/2 the WWE roster.

Oh snap!

I knew there was a reason Vince is wearing the old woman jumper for his matches instead of his "Vinnie Mac-chine!" tank top he usually sports.
