So far, Edge's promo was alright, I almost passed out during Teddy Long's snore fest...
Alienoid's boyfriends and gonna fight the British Guys now. Possible I may rest my eyes during Taylor's time in the ring...am I going to fall asleep?
(oh and as for odds, uh, if you can correctly guess when SmackDown puts me to sleep I will, I don't know, rep you a bunch or something...)

By the way, JBL on commentary is easily the best thing about <s>SmackDown</s> <s>WWE</s> the entire industry.

I been sayin that for a while, when I first heard him it would make me watch and not fast forward through the boring matches, sadly not even JBL's witty comments and pointing out how little Michael Cole actually knows can keep me watching, Besides who wants to watch a B show when The A show is lackying talent itself and is barely watchable.

So I made it to Jillian singing, Boogeyman's music hit but I still didn't feel like opening my eyes...I briefly woke up (that funny half asleep phase) only to realize M.Hardy and Miz were on the screen, so I feel right back to sleep.
I'm sad though, I wanted to see MVP's US Title celebration; was that any good?
You fell asleep? don'y people use matchsticks under the eyelids anymore?
Edge looked like a goof this week - his promo sucked (probably not his fault, but reeling off cliches is not the way for him to go), chasing a midget, and Dave grabbing him at the desk and shoving him looked hokey as shit. Just awful.

LOL yeah, Edge doesn't normally reel off clichés.

I meant to say this when you originally talked about falling asleep during Smackdown a couple of weeks ago...
Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy was an incredible match. I mean... that's not just me overstating it because you said you fell asleep in the middle of it so now I have to defend it. It was actually one of the 5 or so best matches in the history of Smackdown, IMO.

There is no emoticon to express the extreme hilarity of that comment.

You do realize that pointing that out at every turn instead of disputing the "opinion" with a fact, or God forbid your own opinion, makes you seem more stupid and weaker than the people who use those terms, right?
Of course, that's just my opinion.

Nah, just suggesting you get your head out of your ass.

Oh, so instead of being ironic, by lying to make your claims, you were just being a retard who actually has to make shit up to make his claims?
Well, I'm a bit let down, but....

If, by agreeing, you mean "think you said something incredibly fucking stupid, and are worthy of ridicule," then yes.
And bah gawd, that's mah opinion, so nobody can refute it, argue it, or have a differing opinion!

Well, that is logically congruous. The One, who is a pretty big wrestling fan, seems to complain about one brand. It stacks that he's outgrown wrestling because he doesn't like one show put on by one company.

Yes we don't think that 98% of the show is boring because the product is bad, we don't like it because we are a bunch of old hags who hate the fact that Frank Gotch is no longer wrestling.

Falling asleep during a segment in which a diva fake sings terribly only to be cut short by a worm eating man in red face paint and then not wishing to wake myself for a match with a MTV's Real World reject and a guy who's biggest claim to fame is his brother jumps off of ladders and had his ex girlfriend cheat on him makes me not like the industry anymore?
Does anyone see the logic in this?
Oh and #1-Fan, if you think the Kennedy/Hardy match for a few weeks ago was one of the top 5 best SmackDown matches of all time, I question how much of SmackDown you've actually watched. Angle/Lesnar Iron Man, TLC 3, any of the SmackDown 6 matches, Tajiri/Mysterio from '03, Guerreros/WGTT, Edge/Angle Cage Match, Edge/Eddie, JBL/Benoit Cage Match...and that's just off the top of my head. Seriously, one of the top 5 SD matches of all time? Please, PLEASE tell me you were saying that simply for effect and to get a rise out of me.

Alright cool. Cause I was thinking... Benoit vs. Austin was better... I remember a TLC match on SD one week that was dissapointing but still may have been a little better. I really didn't care for the Angle-Lesnar iron man match too much... this is probably a top 5 or 6 SD match.
I'm just glad someone agreed cause after I posted it I was a little worried about getting flamed.

Mark Henry vs. Funaki is the greatest match in Smackdown history.
When you hear Five Star Epic, you think of Henry vs. Funaki.
And I know everyone agrees with me because it's my opinion and my opinion is better than yours.

Nope.
I called TLC 3 as a top 5 already so I won't really get into that one.
Like I said I really didn't actually care for the Lesnar-Angle Iron Man match as have I not really cared for any iron man matches since Bret-Shawn. Something about the way they are booked just never quite does it for me. I don't specifically remember most of the other matches you mentioned but the Guererros and WGTT never had a match that wasn't great so if I saw it again, I could probably agree to that one.
Other than those two, Benoit vs. Austin from a SD back in 2001 was probably my favorite match in SD history. Can't really think of any more I enjoyed more off the top of my head.
Kennedy and Hardy have great chemistry and the subtle build of having Hardy having ended Kennedy's undefeated streak and then Kennedy goes on to grow so much from that time and win MITB and announce that he will be half of the main event of next year's WM only to face the guy who originally ended his streak. It was obvious to me Kennedy was going to win the match but as it went on, it was just alot of great drama during the match. Especially with JBL setting up the background.
That match just really put both guys in prespective the way matches don't really do anymore. You could realistically gather from that match where Kennedy and Hardy were at that point. Matt as an underachiever who may not be anywhere near where Kennedy is in his carreer but for whatever reason has Kennedy's number. There was just alot of realism in the match that you don't get usually watching a guy have an great back and forth match on PPV and then jobbing in 2 minutes on free TV. They played it out beautifully. It was a GREAT match.
