I heard he already had a few "dark matches" and has creamed the competition. He's training with some UFC trainers right now

Probably old news or whatever and I don't wanna look it up

WHAT IS THE DEAL?

He has been training with Militich. Dark matches = sparring in practice

Yeah, sparring doesn't count.

He is in a K1 (or something) fight at the weekend right?

UFC wants him bad though as so long as he doesn't get killed, they are gonna push to sign him.

Yeh, he has a one fight deal with them. His original opponent wasn't cleared for the fight, and now he's fighting some bum who's record is 2-5 and most notable victory is over Sean O'Haire

It's gonna be like Butterbeans fight in Pride.. They'll feed him someone to destroy but most true MMA fans won't care.. I heard he's looking like a monster but I won't get hyped untill he fights someone of worth..

now he's fighting some bum

But he's a hungry young fighter. In fact, he's fighting tonight for a sandwich.

I think MMA fans are gonna buy into him big time. Especially when he is one of, if not the single top draw in the business.

I'm really looking forward to seeing him fight. Won't he have to drop some weight if he wants into the UFC though?

No, he'll just have to lay off the 'roids a bit.

Are you saying he already is a top draw, or that he could be??

I think he'll do fine.. He was a college wrestler, he's huge, and he's marketable.. I'm just saying, until he actually beats someone of worth, he's a selling point for one PPV, not the "future" of MMA..

UFC's heavyweights have to fight at or under 265lbs.. Thought that's about what he weighed, no??

yeah I think his walk around weight is actually somewhere around 300 pounds.

And yes I realize I am repeating bascially what Y2Ant said.

Could be top draw. Would be already in the top 5. He'd do 600,000 buys easy for his debut in UFC.

I thought part of WWEs settlement with him was he couldn't compete in UFC

I remember watching him wrestle at big tens when I was a kid and he won it and he was a stacked solid 280 wrestler (probably weighing much less like around 270) with almost no body fat, but when he was in the wwe he got a little fat. Case in point, his match with kurt angle where he almost killed himself. He could easily walk around his weight class now, and if hes not thats just lazy.

UFC's buy rates are climbing like mad these days already. Brock or not. I think he could do well too, if he doesn't mind being hit.
