Morientes was indeed the man, just like in the first leg, and just like against Real Madrid. You want to know the difference between the two sides? We had nine GREAT (well eight and gronkjaer's "cross") chances and scored two, they had three GREAT chances, and scroed two.

End of the day, we could have won it, we wasted chances, Monaco were the better team over the two legs, they cam to the Bridge knowing exactly what they had to do, and they did it. It would have been nice if Eidur Gudjohnsen could prove me wrong and do something right, really, what the hell was that miss that hit the cross bar all about? and when he messed up his technique at the start of the second half.

Yes, but some players will not leave, as they wont get the same wages. Seriously, Bogarde hasn't played int he first team or over two years, and he has had chances to leave, but hasn't, because he claims he wants to 'prove he is the best centre back in the world', yeah right, £40,000 to train with the youth team and not get a squad number does him nicely.
