Steve-O of MTV Jackass fame wrote on his MySpace.com blog today that he was backstage at Raw last night filming a Summerslam commercial that will pave the way for the entire "Jackass" cast to be involved in the main event of WWE's August PPV at the Continental Airlines Arena. Steve-O wrote, "I really wasn't that bad last night, well, that's not true. I did a great job shooting my new WWE commercial to promote the WWE Pay Per View Summer Slam, but then everyone got all sorts of uptight as a result of me running around trying to get famous wrestlers to choke me unconcious (sic) for my Paparazzi Stuntman dvd (plenty of them were ready to do it, including Umaga, but the suits derailed me). I got a funny call from LA saying, "why are we getting calls that the main event of their WWE Summer Slam may be called off because of you're behaving so badly?"(The whole cast of jackass, minus Weeman, will be in a huge match for the main event)" You can read the entire blog at this link Something tells me WWE officials will be thrilled about that being posted.

IDK, I should honestly see Steve-O being a decent spot-monkey. Also, I would mind seeing Bam getting his head kicked in. They could do a lot worse, the jackass crew is just athletic enough and has no problem with getting hurt. Might be fun to watch.

They will get the shit beaten out of them, but I really don't care or like them enough to want to see it. I'm looking at the cast list for Jackass, and there are eight guys listed minus Wee Man. However, if you have Finlay in there beating the shit out of them (and you should), then Wee Man and Hornswoggle would probably turn up).

So eight guys to beat the shit out of the Jackass cast? Finlay, Umaga, William Regal, Dave Taylor, Hardcore Holly, Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von and MVP? I guess you could substitute MVP for someone like Chris Benoit, Shad Gaspard, Mark Henry or even Jamie Noble or The Miz (Mike Mizanin held his own in that "Dixie Dogfight" against Daniel Puder) should you want to use MVP for something...you know...important?

I actually remember someone a few years back on these very boards talking of the appeal of having Johnny Knoxville headlining a show....

Cross-over appeal, people who could actually take bumps etc....
