Is there a way to capture your active / open website / window and save it to your computer??? Is there a way to do it without software, etc.?? I don't know anything about it, but would like to do that with a few sites that I use and need some help with that.

Thanks in advance.

If you mean by just taking a single image on what is on your screen, just hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard, open up Microsoft Paint and paste it in there. Screen captured.

If you want to actually record what's happening on your screen continiously, then you're going to have to look at special software. I think there's one called GrabIt or ScreenIt, something ending in 'It' that does the job.

I want to just take the single image of whats on the screen, like say, part of this thread. I have been trying the print screen deal, and try to go to Paint & paste it, but it's not working at all.

I searched my computer, and they say hit alt&prntscrn, or printscrn by itself, but I have tried both methods and yet nothing is working. Any suggestions or anything that could possibly be stopping it from working?? :(

Since you are posting I assume you have a computer and is there a computer in the world that doesnt have Paint. No. So do printscreen and Control-V that sucka into paint and crop out your item or whatever, open up a new Paint and paste that sucker one time

Alt + Print screen will just capture the active window (ie your browser if that's what you're looking at), simply pressing print screen will capture your entire screen, including taskbar and ish. It basically copies the capture to your clipboard, then you can just paste it anywhere, like Paint or Photoshop or something. Not sure why it won't work.

I remember a long time ago I kept pressing that button and I would go into paint and the paste option wasn't available. I think there's a setting for the clipboard. Something about "making things in the clipboard available for other programs". I think it might be in the system tools thing.

On the other hand, a program like Neoshooter is easy to use. With that you can take quick screenshots instead of pressing the prnt scrn then pasting then saving then doing it all over again.
