...that you started out hating but have grown on you over time?
Mine would definately be MVP. After seeing him wrestle I realized he has loads of talent and he makes a pretty good heel.

MVP is definately one, couldn't stand him at first but he is definately loaded with potential to be a huge star.
The Rock is another, but actually, I think I never really liked him until he was gone. With the current 'talent' and roster, I have a new appreciation for him. I mean, I always acknowledged that he was a great mic worker and packed with charisma but I always slammed his in-ring work. In retrospect, he really was more acceptable in the ring than a lot of guys. And, his charisma is unrivaled and probably never will be.
Christian. I thought he lacked the presence of a legit star, even at the midcard level in WWE. I didn't think he could go beyond being the "Other Guy" in a tag team. But he is deserving of the main event in any promotion right now.

Same. I never realized how great he actually was until others tried to take his place.

Sadly, I have to admit that after being the biggest Umaga hater I know around the time that he started fueding with Cena I started to appreciate him alot more. He's athletic for a man his size, has a great move with the pop-up then catch then Sslam routine. He can pull off the monster gimmick well. They need better direction and to stick with a manager and he could main event for several years.

It really irks me that Umaga never got a decision over Lashley during that entire feud.

Also, I don't really hate Lashley.

Yeah Lashley vs. Umaga could have been cool in a Monster Fued, too bad they turned it into one facet of "We're trying to recreate Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar at the same time."

Umaga vs Khali could be entertaining.

Finlay, Ric Flair.
I hated both at first, but now I watch Smackdown mostly for Finlay, and Flair is my favorite wrestler of all time. :y:

I agree with a lot of the names listed here. I never really liked him, but if The Rock returned tomorrow, I would mark the fuck out. It made me happy to see him get booed against Hogan at WrestleMania X8. In retrospect, I feel sorry for the guy. He is someone the WWE could really use at this point in time.
There are a lot of guys I never really appreciated the talent of, and hence didn't like just because the IWC gave them blowjobs. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho and Ric Flair come to mind. I never really "disliked" those guys, though.
I never liked Jeff Hardy. Matt was always my favourite, and he was the one I thought had all the talent. Jeff was just the guy who jumped off ladders. Since he has come back to the WWE, however, I have found myself to be enjoying his matches. Even his routine spots from the Attitude era are kind of refreshing to see. He has also employed more psychology into his matches. Some of his work with Johnny Nitro was just great. It has gotten to the point where seeing Jeff Hardy with the IC Title doesn't make me sick, and in fact, I think he deserves the belt.

Chris Masters is a guy I didn't hate, and wanted to get behind, but I never really enjoyed him. Since the wellness policy came into place, however, I have sympathy for the guy, because the writers had nothing past "The Masterpiece" character for him.

he needs Estrada as his manager again. He has been on a downward spiral since aligning himself with the McMahons.
