.. it's that I will now be letting my girlfriend start the car without me in it.

I wonder if the WWE is going to say anything about the driver....

Jura

I was going to say, in all the other segments with limos in it there was a driver but in this case no. They'll probably say he was in the bathroom or something.

The car blew up when he closed the door, not when he started it...

All I know is that TPWW was packed last night, and no one thing in the world of wrestling has been this talked about in a long time.

It was Hogan, via remote detonation.

It's new and original for wrestling and more realistic than any of the shit they've put on in 7+ years. Vince is an asshole and he finally (seemingly) got what he had coming to him.

Will they fuck it up? Maybe. Is there a chance this could be the biggest storyline in wrestling? Yeah. Did it get the entire wrestling community - and people outside of it - talking? You bet it did.

If we're going to "accept" shit like The Undertaker, I don't see what's wrong with this.

They only said he was presumed dead to be fair.

And Disturbed, as for anyone 'accepting' this, it's no different than a character being killed off in any other tv show or movie really. Would you go to a movie and see someone killed off and say "I'm not accepting this story..." ?

They killed Paul Bearer.

Nope. Later on they (wwe.com) said he was pretty beat up. Later on he came back for one or two nights.

He came back!? When and did what?

No he didn't, he never appeared on-camera after that happened. WWE.com mentioned that he had been "taken from the cement-filled box" and rushed to a hospital, but his condition was never updated on.

Sean Bean was at the Fellowship of the Ring premiere. Totally ruined the credibility of the movie for me. :nono:

They killed Paul Bearer.

Yep, and when it was reported that they violated their own policy, they threw a fit and told the reporters to retract the story because Paul Bearer was really alive, and would be showing up....

I continue to fail to see why Finlay gets flung around any time someone gets pissed.

I'll never forget them fucking the bearer angle up and actually showing preperation footage of undertaker getting his lines and position etc before the ppv started.

Because he's an Irish bastard and he loves to fight.

What gets me is that they're getting after the fans for booing the salute. It's Vince Russo syndrome: Everything you're watching is fake but what's happening RIGHT NOW is real and damn you for not appreciating it.

Fans are booing the salute?

Vince was a bad guy. Unless he really died, why should the fans show appreciation? Shouldn't we be booing the heel?

I heard Kane Knight say something about the Irish. That is the only reason I came to this thread.

Well, there are clearly more than a few "Still real to me" tards out there.
