View Full Version : How do you think the Vince "Death" angle will go?

I'm hoping the "Ghost" of Vince MCMahon will come back and start "haunting" arenas.

Serious answer? For the next few months it will probably be pretty cool. The promos will probably be really good for awhile because people will be on their game since this is a very important angle. Then he'll be resurrected or we'll be told he escaped or something stupid and it will be buisness as usual. Which of course, sucks.
Semi-attempt at humour answer? I'm looking out for Vince's mummy and Cena and Lashley as Abbot and Costello.

I want Zombie McMahon to rise from the dead at Vengeance.
I honestly don't know how this will go. I imagine up until we find out who did it, there will be a whole lot of "you did it" "he did it" "they did it"... with the occasional depth and well thought out storylines, but at the same time there will be theories with no depth and boring ass storylines and promos.
I just hope the climax of this isn't a complete let down (Please don't Rikishi this one up). Also I really hope the aftermath of finding out who did it is entertaining.
I do think it would be pretty cool if Vince actually died for the sake of the storyline. I like him on tv when he's not in large doses, but this could be pretty big if it sticks (which it won't).

Dorkchop, howabout the Undertaker raises him from the dead as his proxy? And then the McMahons can set out to "Rescue" Zombie Vince.,

It could be a way to reignite the Corporate Ministry. The Undertaker could convert to McMahonism.

Only if HBK can perform and exorsim on Zombie Vince.
When they did the Limo shot earlier backing out I swear I thought Vince was the driver. Then I thought that they should have him in random extra roles. Like one week he's a limo driver, the next week he's part of security that breaks a fight up, the next week he's a caterer, etc etc.
It could turn into a Where's Waldo storyline. :shifty:

That would be really hilarious, and funny. Officially, it's hot him, but it'd be a humorous side plot of the storyline.
I think its really stupid. Everyone knows McMahon isnt dead so playing it off so hard as so makes the WWE look so retarded. 3 hour show dedicated to his legacy? Comon. So dumb. I dont even care about this shit anymore. Wrestling is stupid.

Vince fakes his death to prove some point, it doesnt go over, and isnt mentioned again on TV.

If explosions are gay, then every action movie hero is gay.
...Which, I suppose, isn't too far off.

Pretty much said this before he was thrown from the Limo when it blew, and he wandered off into the streets and was picked up by wandering Vagrents. Y2J will find him and sell him on E-bay to the highest Bidder which will be HHH cause he dosn't wanna get fired when people finally realize how lame-uh he is uh

I think they will reveal Vince was the one who blew himself up.
I don't know how they'll explain him surviving the explosion, but I figure that he'll be the one ultimately behind it.

What I hope happens: Paul London was behind the bombing because with Vince running things, the little guys will never get opportunities to climb to the status they can achieve, and Vince has put the ban on Paul London's two preferred finishing maneuvers (Shooting Star Press and 450 Splash). He also got pissed off because Vince suspended Ashley, who Paul is banging behind his partner's back. :y:
Paul London can then be portrayed as "insane," and Brian Kendrick can try and stop him, leading to a feud between the two over the Intercontinental Championship. A lad can dream.
What will happen: Vince will return as "Dr. Boom" and demand reveal that he can never die, blah, blah, blah.

Either it will turn out to be a Jackass stunt gone wrong to hype this crossover shit (only about 6 years late hopping on that bandwagon, huh?) or, most likely (and there are a lot of clues pointing towards this, especially on WWE.com) it will turn out Vince rigged his own "death" and will show up again at a climactic moment in the future... hopefully the distant future. Not because I have anything against him as a performer, but they should not rush him back.

Oh wait, WWE didn't DO a tribute to Louie Spicolli...

You see... you would THINK that with such a big angle, they would want to eventually revolve it around a particular wrestler. You know, to give somebody a push. To maybe turn somebody into a ratings draw or a PPV draw or a merchandise draw. A money maker.
Of course, this being 2007 WWE, it will probably turn out to be a McMahon, or a Bischoff, or some other bit part player which won't draw them a dime.
That, or this is all part of Triple H's return.

06-20-2007, 11:24 PM
Well it's either going to end up with someone Rikishi-ing it, ot Vince faking his own death. We know it's going to be either.... it's how we get to the conclusion of all this that's important... and how it affects the product or superstar afterwards. If the storyline in finding who did it is awesome, I'll be happy.
