For those who don't know, the plan is to have two singles matches on Sci-Fi's ECW broadcast tomorrow, with Chris Benoit facing Elijah Burke and CM Punk taking on Marcus Cor Von. The winners of those matches will compete at Vengeance to decde the new ECW World Champion. If the Vengeance match is Chris Benoit vs. CM Punk, and it gets time, I might have to masturbate.

Deuce N' Domino still don't have opponents set for Vengeance. My guess is that it will be The Major Brothers. Should be a fun match, but I doubt the fans will be into it. The guys performing will probably get the blame for that, as well.

Umaga challenging Santino Marella is news to me. I guess this is the rematch that Umaga never got. I hope they don't put the Championship on him again. I think the only way they can avoid that is by having Mick Foley help out Santino. Probably a cheap tactic to try and get him over. Here's an idea: Try booking him as something other than a babyface stereotype.

They should have Mick Foley in the main event, and they should really add The Sandman as well. He never won a World Championship under the WWE umbrella (which I'm guessing is the requirement), but The Sandman being in the match would even it out, and would make people see him as something other than a mid-carder. Carlito could make an appearance and take him out of the match, which could be used to fuel their feud. Everybody wins.

Oh, and I apologise to all who heard me say that hopefully the WWE uses this draft to re-establish the lines between the brands. The Hardys are once again together. I've actually seen something which appears to be merchanside on WWE.com, and it had the Hardy Boyz's "HB" logo, with the H giving off a red aura, while the "B" gave off a blue aura. It might not have been intentional, but I immediately thought of Jeff Hardy being on RAW, and Matt Hardy being on SmackDown!. I'm actually wondering if the WWE is trying to make them seem above the rules.

Just for the record: I don't mind guys appearing on multiple brands. I'm sure the General Managers could agree to something like that, and a superior in the WWE could agree to it, but I just wish they would address it.

I like the Santino-Umaga angle, it's got the actual feeling of David-Goliath that they try hard to force on Cena vs. Everyone. The fact that he doesn't have a really gimmicky personality in promos helps it, he just seems like a normal guy who get's lucky. I think he needs to get a clean pin over Umaga, not just a school boy or small package so he can show he has real skill.

Then a fued with Regal would be totally awesome.

The fact that this PPV looks promising, is probably why I wont order it. I don't want to be THAT let down when it blows chunks, because it is 98% likely that it is going to.

It does look like a solid card, to be honest. But I think it needs to be booked well, and I don't trust the WWE to do that. I might order it, and it is the first PPV I've considered ordering in some time, so that says something positive for the tentative card.

The New Breed won't look like chumps not getting into the match, as they would provide a handful for both Benoit and Punk on Sci-Fi. I'd give Burke and Benoit a good twenty minutes, to give Elijah a great showing. Benoit vs. Punk should be match of the night if it takes place.

Not a bad card, IMO. Not great...but not bad.

The clusterfuck - I'm looking forward to, 'cos I like clusterfucks :y:

Edge/Batista - is pretty meh to me but I'm interested enough.

ECW match - I'm excited about, I want Benoit/Punk tbh. Whichever two wrestlers are involved it'll be the match of the night.

Marella/Umaga - I really don't care. But the fact the I.C title is on the line makes it slightly interesting.

MVP/Flair - Whilst no feud has really been built, I'm looking forward to this match as MVP is awesome and Flair is, well, FLAIR.

Cade/Murdoch V Hardyz - I'm a Hardyz mark so this match appeals to me, but Cade/Murdoch are yet to win me over as fans of theirs.

Deuce/Domino V TBA - Due to me only starting watching wrestling again recently, I've not seen enough of these two teams to really care.

Melina V Candice - I'm not gonna piss from now till Sunday in hope that I can hold my pee throughout this whole match.

Chavo V JWY - Looking forward to this one, it'll be a good match without a doubt, and I can see JWY getting the title :D.

So yeah overall I'd say it's a reasonable card.
