DVD Talk
With the Rock Anthology postponed, WWE tweaked their DVD releases to come out a few months earlier than they were slated for like the Ladder Match and Austins Anthology. HBKs new DVD was slated for 08 but now its up for preorder on various sites. It is coming out Nov 20. (Just in time for the Holidats) It is a 3 Disc Set. What do you hope is on the set?

There absolutely HAS to be the match where he first won the Intercontinental title from the British Bulldog at Saturday Night's Main Event in 1992. If so, I will buy it for sure.

This would be a great set, but I would replace the Rey Mysterio match with the Shelton Benjamin match from RAW.

IC, we can't allow this to get inbetween us....
Besides, I'd like to share some history about me and The Rockers breaking up...
Back when wrestling was still real to me, and it was still called the WWF there was a tag team that was better than any other team in my eyes. They were called The Rockers.
My twin brother (a serious one, he's not a metaphor) was another huge fan of The Rockers. I liked Shawn, he liked Marty. We were on the edge of our seats when we weren't sure if The Rockers were going to break up. When they shook hands we were both thrilled. When HBK turned his back on Marty I was so happy. He would be much cooler alone!
My twin brother thought Marty would be better off without Shawn.
Years have passed, we're now 23 years old. He's not as big of a wrestling fan as he used to, and my passion for wrestling has grown by leaps and bounds.
And to this day I can up bring The Rockers breaking up and he'll get pissed off at me.
Now I know we're not seeing eye to eye, but I'd like to extned the olive branch of peace here....

Agreed.
You would also need the Elimination Chamber @ Survivor Series '02 somwhere in there.

I really wish they would put the Rocker's phantom title win in the set as I've NEVER seen that match.
In fact I doubt anyone here has probably seen it.

I'll get it. :y:
I really hope this isn't his From the Vault DVD with a third DVD tacked on.
I'd like to see way more Rockers matches. Like something vs L.O.D or Demolition or a few other great tag teams back then.

Actually, a set of some of the great tag teams would be great in and of itself.
But WWE doesn't care about tag teams.
Those racist bastards.

Tag teams can't be World Champion so they suck.

"WWE Films Presents: The World's Greatest Tag Teams, no not Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas (They aren't featured on this DVD)."

I hope not either, as they did that with the Foley DVD. But from what I have read that WWE was working on a complete new 3 Disc Set for HBK

How could I forget to put Rockers vs Orient Express from Royal Rumble 91 on there?

A greatest tag team of the 80's DVD set alone in my opinion would be worthy of 5 discs.

I got a Best of the Rockers compliation tape Titled, "From AWA to HBK." It's awesome.
I'm pretty sure they'll make this a new 3 disk and give HBK a one hour + documentary. It would be cool if they got Nash and Hall to give input on things. If they do a documentary, it' a definate buy for me. If they make it like Takers, then maybe not.

Wasn't 'From the Vault' set as a documentary though? I'm going to put money on it being like The Undertakers.

Not really. HBK gave his thoughts/views on a match for about 4 minutes per match and they showed the match.

I don't like the DVD's with just matches, especially the WWE guys ones, because I already have most of those macthes somewhere
I'm assuming by "anthology" it will only be matches, like Hogan's new DVD was.
