Moving on to this week....this week's game to rate is....Sonic the Hedghog (Genesis). I believe this is the first Sega exclusive title thus far on this list. Anywho, rate the damn thing.

The Sonic Collection released a few years back on all the systems with all the Sonic games on there was a sweet collection.

A solid 3.
It was fun, it just didn't do anything for me.

3 as well. Was a good game, worthy of a score between a 3 and 4, but like gatoconbotas never did anything for me.

4. It wasn't perfected until the sequels.

Sonic was great for providing a platformer different from what we had dealt with recently. It was a fun, solid game, but I always thought of it more as "The alternative" before Sonic 2 came out. Sonic 2 made the series really come into its own, and feel distinct for some reason.

A lot of series are like this. Super Mario Brothers was great, but Super Mario 3 made the series for me and thousands of others. Just as an example.

KK is right Sonic 2 was when Sonic got huge, and I feel it was the best Sonic game.
