What's everyone's thoughts on him? I think he was a bland man of the 80's who was mysteriously pushed for no real reason and then somehow kind of got over and coasted through the rest of his career with little to no success and at the end o the day has almost nothing to show for his time.

What's your opinion?

What was the deal with his shrunken arm?

It's mentioned in Mick Foley's first book. Something about severe nerve damage or somesuch in that arm, which caused it to reduce in size. Foley claimed the shriveled arm was stronger than the natural one.

I remember "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff as UWF Champion before he went to WWF where he's a regular main eventer / upper-midcarder.

He was a good foil for Hogan. Was probably one of the strongest guys in the business. Had one of, if not the, best Piledrivers in the business.

He was over as a heel for the same reason Benoit is over now: Good worker, and really intense.

If he had had the neck surgery before the damage was done, we'd still be talking about him in positive terms.

it was actually on the floor I believe. It was FLAIR AND Anderson, but Pillman was the one who enticed it. That was a great spot

Anyway, Orndorf drew good money with Hogan in 86 and that angle was one, if not the, hottest angle of that year. The buildup was awesome and they had a great cage match for the belt. The turn was so well executed. The promo backstage with him, Adonis, Studd, Hennan and somebody else was cool.

His heel team with Piper was also a good part of his career. Other then that, he career was pretty medicore. He was a much better heel then babyface.

The Flair and Anderson piledriver spot on Orndoff happened on Nitro.

I agree with LC on Orndorff. The awful part was after his feud with Hogan they didnt know whaht to do with him. He was left off the WM 3 card when he should have been on there, he suddenly turns face again and has a brief feud with Rude then he dissapeared from the sport for a while.

Chris Master's = Mr. Wonderful's love child...unfortunately, he inherited non of his father's bland talent.

He was definitely the precursor to Chris Masters, and you could make an argument for Lex Luger too. Too be honest, even when he was young, his face looked really old... I found it very hard to take him seriously as a threat, looking like he was about to collect his pension. Just think "Ric Flair in 2007" territory.

He was one of the legit toughest wrestlers of all time. I mean this guy kicked Vader's ass in a pair of flip flops.

Remember when Vader's eye popped out? Sorry, off topic.
